Your character's full name: Xiuhcoatl
Age: 39

Allegiance: Neutral
Appearance:
Age: 39
Species: Tayra
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Neutral
Appearance:
Dark brown furred, but starting to turn gray on his head with slight age, Xiuhcoatl is a prime example of his species. Being more muscular and a little bigger than an otter, Xiuhcoatl could easily grab his fellow relatives, weasels and marten and be able to snap or strangle their necks with them not being able to do much about it. Despite this though, he also shows fair amount of intelligence, being able to learn common vermin and the international language share by both vermin and goodbeasts.Belongings:
He also spouts a long, bushy tail and a robust head, long claws with pronounced fangs, he even has wrinkled facial skin. This would mean that blood from a head injury would likely run along those wrinkles instead of other places, like on the eyes.
His species are also good swimmers and, believe it or not. Are expert climbers for their size, even able to jump from branch to branch.
Xiuhcoatl is not really much of the type who likes silk, He often wears simple shirts and necklaces and bracelets made from long hairs, teeth, claws, obsidian, bright stones, and sometimes. Even Shrunken Heads......Job or Position:
He also wears simple belts and scabbards. He is also prone to wearing gold a lot.
He often uses a simple larger cutlass, but he prefers any large and curved blade.
King of Terramort Island.Personality:
Xiuhcoatl bearly knows fear or doubt at all. Yet he is not cocky, he is calm and vigilant. He is intelligent and capable of tactics, but often times his beliefs may get in the way. Due to the fact that most of the vermin under him are not like the fighters he used to battle along side in the New World. Who were MUCH braver and tougher.History and Background Information:
Xiuhcoatl is very superstitious and a firm traditionalist. Shrinking the heads of defeated enemies, enslaving other beasts, decorating the halls, rooms and throne with heads, gold and weapons. Having his pirate captains mark themselves in Jungle Warrior tattoos...... In short. A lot of the seascum are trying to adapt to the fact that compared to a lot of other past pirate kings..... He is very different.
Xiuhcoatl was born and raised in the New World. A country known mostly for it's hostile inhabitants like raccoons, but it's also known as a literal gold mine if anyone had the guts to try to wrestle them from the paws and claws of the jaguar kings and queens, also rising as decent slave trade and it is also known for a food that could be made sweet, which is quickly becoming a are, but amazing drink and food. (Think chocolate)Any other details:
Xiuhcoatl's life was that of most other beasts like him. He was a warrior who fought for a jaguar lord near the coastal reigns and did his job well. His life would change quickly and shockingly when slave traders catch him and a few others and force them on their oar ship.
Xiuhcoatl would work on this horrible ship for months on end, In this time. I could make friends with a ferret who would eventually teach him common vermin and the international language between Mossflower, Eastern Jungles and Middle Kingdoms. Unfortunately, this friendship would not last long as the ferret would soon be sold afterward, but he was able to keep one close friend. A Cacomistle named Yayauhqui. He and this creature would become close allies who would everyday, plan their future after they finally had the chance to escape....
Combination of water, salt and straining would finally make one day. As they were now weak to the point Xiuhcoatl was able to slide both his paws out of them, but he didn't try to do anything just yet, he would make his move when night finally came. Slipping lose, he strangled the very beast who had been whipping him his entire existence here and silently released his Cacomistle friend too. Along with the other slaves, The tayra and Cacomistle would overpower and kill the entire crew and take control of the ship.
Learning a lot about pirate from the ferret slave. Xiuhcoatl knew that the best way to gain sudden power would be.... To challenge and KILL Terramort's pirate King first. You see? It's impossible to outright challenge rulers of places like Riftgard, even in Terramort though, you had to be careful. If you challenged the Pirate King's position OUTSIDE the island or fortress. You obviously are not going to make it very far before you are sunk or killed.
It only took a few months of pirating before he finally got close enough inside the fort to suddenly attack the pirate king in his own throne room. Of course because it was close enough of a challenge, the other pirates did not interfere with the fight. This was a fight between a large searat and a Tayra. This would obviously lead to inevitable death for the searat.
With the death of said pirate king. Xiuhcoatl became the new Pirate King and make Yayauhqui his second in command over all the pirate crews.......
His name is very ironic as it means "Fire Serpent." Which pretty much explains why he is not too far away from declaring war again Salamandastron in the first place.
Fort Bladegirt's throne room is decorated with furs, scented burns, weapons and gold objects and finally....... Dozens upon dozens of shrunken heads! The heads of those who dared challenge Xiuhcoatl for position or defied his authority.
