As with everyone of Silas's kisses Tamar never wanted this one to end but all too soon it did and they were faced again with the walk across the grounds to the Great Hall. She had the sneaking suspicion that there were more than one pair of eyes peering out the windows curiously but she didn't allow herself to look for them. Instead she focused on the big oak front doors and held tightly to Silas's paw.
"You know I'm a tad famished m'self," Ally smiled, thrilled that Jeremy was feeling better. "I wonder if they'll bring the bally nose bag up to us or if I should try out the ol' hoof and see if the Redwall kitchens are all that we've been told they are."

Silas also felt numerous beasts watching them as they walked across the grounds to the oaken door, causing him to blush just the slightest bit under his russet fur. However he also ignored the feeling as best he could, gripping Tamar's paw as much as she did his. He could just imagine what his father would say about the sight, and smiled a little at the thought.
Well, I hope you two didn't keep each other up, aye?

After what seemed like an age and not nearly long enough they reached the door and Tamar glanced up at Silas. "What are you smiling about?" She smiled herself at the humor in his blue eyes. She had been doing an awful lot of smiling lately and as long as he was at her side she could foresee herself doing a lot more of it. That is if they lived through the day.

Nervously, Urthblayde cleared his throat as he entered the room. Releaaved to find an empty char next to his new friend Garret he hastily found his seat. Looking around the room, the badger noticed several creatures starring him. Clearing his throat again, he could not help but feel he wasn't quite welcome there. Did they all know what happened last night, and how he almost killed the fox. Sheepishly, the badger smiled.

Even with the prospect of an imminent attack on the Abbey, Silas seemed at peace in the frigid winter morning. He could see that there was already a good amount of sentries stationed on the battlements, reluctantly vigilant on the lookout for danger. They were as trained as they could be in the short amount of time they had, and he rested his trust in them.
"Hm? Oh." the squirrel warrior turns back to Tamar, his smile widening at the question. "Well, firstly, I'll never have to suffer through cold paws again..." he says in a joking manner, indicating their occupied paws as they arrived at the door.
