"No... They don't. Why don't we go in there and talk about this, Miss?" Garret said, gesturing toward a door a few feet away.
"Trust me, nobody's going to bother us." He added, with a wink. He knew something.

The badgermaid looked Garret over carefully once more, sizing him up and finding him trustworthy. She nodded, turned and walked to the room he pointed out.
Tamar turned and looked at the others, "Well she's got me curious. How 'bout you?"

Garret closed the door behind Conium as she entered the room.
"Your real name is Katherine Pasquale, correct? I heard about that whole ordeal through Leon. The first thing I want to tell you is that you did the right thing. The second: I'll get that sorted out when this is over. With payoffs and mass wipes of their servers, it'll wink out of existence, and you can have your life back. Just remember to keep it secret until you hear from me about it." He said, looking at the Badgermaid.
(Note: While they're in there, it would be a good time to pop in, Jasyn. I need to get more people in this...)

The young female started to nod, impressed by his promise that she would have her life back but then she just had to ask, "How did Leon know? I mean since he was the one who told you."

"He's a Special Situations soldier. He gets told all about pretty much everything. They had theorized that you were here, and he decided to check when he arrived. He saw that it was indeed you, and sent a message stating that He'd checked the whole residence of the abbey, but hadn't found a 'Katherine', or anybeast fitting the description." Garret explained.
"He's a good guy, not some militaristic, orders-only *******." He added, looking out the window of whatever room they were in.

Kathrine couldn't help but smile when she heard how Leon had kept her secret. "I'll have to thank him," she said softly. But then she thought of something that put her on her guard again. "What about the others and the ones who are still coming? Do they know?" ((might be interesting if one of them was actually in on the MIT attack. A young male Badger, perhaps? somebeast young enough to struggle with the idea of disobeying orders to save a civilian, even a pretty young member of his own species?))

"Well, my guys do, but apparently, they're sending us a surplus squad, to boaster us. They'll be in one of the choppers." Garret answered, shrugging slightly. "They don't know, and they won't find out either, you have my word."

Jasyn muttered under his breath. "What the hell is he paying me for?! Grunt work?!?" The merc dusted off his coat and trotted outside to take the packages Garrett sent him for. He decided to stack them just in the great hall, then he looked around. "Now where is he?" Jasyn went off to find his employer... Jasyn walked through the sands of the sahara, and found a dun-colored excavator's tent. He ducked inside the tent, and found a black otter waiting for him. He cleared his throat. The otter looked up and smiled. "Ah, Jasyn Kaiden. I'm glad your here. Some native raiders have been disturbing my camp lately, I was wondering if you could help out, you came Highly recomended." The fox merc nodded. Piece of cake.

Kathrine nodded but she wasn't quite sure if she could believe him this time. She bit her lip, crossed her arms and looked out the window. After a moment she looked back at him as if she had forgotten he was there and smiled sheepishly. "I guess we better go back with everybeast in there." She motioned to the closed door behind him.
"He's in there," Tamar supplied the answer to Jasyn's question. She wouldn't dare interrupt the private conversation herself but if she sent somebeast else in maybe she could find out what was going on.

The Mercenary nodded once in thanks, then gave a brief tap on the door. "Yo, Garret. What do you want done with these boxes?" Jasyn crouched in the moonlite sahara, his grey eyes focused on the Raider's camp. His dual-wield desert eagles; both plated with a sand-colored metal, and engraved with a styalized tribal eagle above the barrels, with wings going down each side. They were a gift, and one he treasured highly. Now, the high powered guns were loaded with hollow-point rounds. Soon enough, they would be boring through the sand-shrew's flesh. Jasyn had watched enough. These shrews were trouble. They weren't the good beasts that their species was anymore.

"Ah, let me help with those. Let's head into Great Hall." Garret said, as he opened the door. He looked back in at 'Conium', and gave a slight nod, indicating that their meeting was over. He grabbed one of the dolleys, and began wheeling the crate down the corridor. (Please, continue the story, Jasyn, it's interesting )

Jasyn started helping Garret move the crates, then he stopped. "Hey Garret, what's in these crates anyway? Munitions, Incenindarys? What?" The fox took one and began peeling the top off.Jasyn heard the sound of a rifle crack in the night, and he felt a sniper's bullet breeze past him. Well, well...someone knew about him. Time to rectify that situation. Jasyn heard another shot, and discovered his would-be-shooter. A small shrew holding a low-grade, one-shot sniper rifle. Jasyn crept up and placed a dagger to his throat. "Good by, assassined." A swift swipe, and the beast's crimson essence flowed down his throat. The merc nudged the corpse off the ledge, and put away the dagger, before pulling out his favorite Desert Eagles. "Time to die, scum." He rushed down the hill behind him, and into a chaos of gunfire and bloodshed.

"Small arms and SMGs." Garret said, and helped Jasyn tear the top off the one he was opening. In it were dozens of Dual Action Glock 17cs. There were three crates in total. "The other has G36s, and the one I've got is filled with Intercepter Medium Armor Vests, 50 of them, as well as all the spare ammo I brought."

Jasyn looked quickly up at his employer. "And what is this? Are we planning for a war? I thought this was merely taking care of a problem, not ERADICATING IT!" Jasyn calmed, then stared at the other fox with his dead grey eyes.

"I wanted those who wanted to stay and fight be ABLE to do so. And if they don't plan on using a weapon, they can still wear a vest, and be reletively safe." Garret said, shrugging. He scooped up one of the Glocks and removed the magazine, and then slid it back into the reciever. The slide clicked into place by itself. "Dual actions, some of the simplest and most effective handguns on the market. Easy to use, too."
