Yes, because you're only talking about the Steelers. And calls like that happen in EVERY GAME to EVERY TEAM. There are ALWAYS questionable calls in football games. Just like there's always at least one first down in a drive!

I'm not going to deny that the Steelers are awesome. I know 'tis to be true. But you know... the Cowboys aren't doing that shabby either. Beating New Orleans was... pretty dang great.

And the Steelers ended up missing the playoffs, losing to the Browns, Raiders, and the Chiefs!!! Three of the worst teams in the league! Plus stupid Big Ben is gonna sit out the first six games of the season, which I saw coming. LOL
Anyway, the Seahawks had a great draft, and it's not just me saying that. Most of the guys on NFL network agree with me! (And we finally got a left tackle to replace Walter Jones and protect Hasselbeck's blind side.) I wouldn't say we'll make the playoffs next season, but with the things our new coach set in motion, we'll be in the hunt at least. Probably better than the Cardinals in the NFC West division. I doubt the Steelers will make the playoffs, unless whoever starts for Ben can win some games early in the year.
Like always, I'm excited for the season to start again. Hopefully my team will be back and ready to reclaim our spot as the top dog in the NFC West. (And hopefully the Steelers get beat down by the Bengals and Ravens again!)

And we lost Polamalu for most of our season. And you can't blame Big Ben. He's a guy just like the rest of us, only he's followed by the media more, has more athletic skill, has more money...

I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the season so far. Seattle is somehow on top of the NFC West, a division that everybody said belonged to the 49ers, (who are 0-3!) My major concerns are with the pass defense and our whole offense, neither of which has been consistent the first three games. But we are 5th against the run and our special teams look spectacular, and helped us beat the Chargers. Hasselbeck is inconsistent so far this year, hopefully he can get it together and adapt to the new Pete Carrol offense.
I'm also surprised that the Steelers are 3-0 to start the season, that says something about their defense early in the season. But they'll really be tested this week against the Ravens, which has the makings of a great game. Seattle is playing the Rams so we should have another win before heading into our bye week.

To be honest, I'm surprised to. But with Polamalu healthy, our defense is 20x better than last year. And if Batch can pull off another performance like last week's, its gold. Everybody just really seems to be stepping it up this year, because we don't have the <sarcasm>All powerful god Rothelisberger</sarcasm>

Well, my team lost to the stupid Rams right before the bye week. *Grumbles.* We're apparently good at home, but garbage on the road. The Steelers defeat was probably just as bad. Not score wise, it was tough game against the Ravens, it was a loss at home, and T.J. Houshmanzadeh caught the winning touchdown.....
Tomorrow we're facing the Bears at Chicago, so I expect Seattle will lose, due to their horrible play on the road. Though I suspect it won't be a blow out, it should be a close game, since the Bears aren't that good despite their 4-1 record.
Also, do you watch any college football? I follow Washington University, (obviously they're located in Seattle.) I hope that Seattle drafts their quarterback, Jake Locker, when the draft comes around. Even though Hasselbeck is my favorite player, he's 35, we need a new QB soon, and Jake Locker is one of the nation's top quarterbacks. I can dream, can't I? XD
(Washington is beating Oregon State 14 to nothing right now.)

Before you say anything, I agree. James Harrison needs to be fined for those hits. Both were helmet-to-helmet and could have been very bad.
Its not bad so far. Ben's being a bit more conservative and its paying off, I think. (Lol at the red-zone INT though...)
