Age: 26 years (105 seasons)
Species: Red fox
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Neutral
Appearance:
Ghost is a stoic fox, presenting his features in an ever-passive glance of mild curiosity, his dark brown eyes examining his surroundings. Standing at an average height, Ghost is also an athletic fox, sinewy and strong, with a subtle hint of muscle underneath his fur, which he displays proudly in all but the worst weather. Tribal tattoos are the source of his pride, covering his entire back, his muzzle, and along his arms in flowing patterns of black. Though rarely seen with shirts, Ghost always wears some sort of long trousers, usually a dark color, no matter the season. Other distinguishing marks include a small trianggular wedge missing from his left ear, and scars on both of his paws, all due to some fight or other.Belongings:
Ghost has very few belongings, most of which are wrapped up in a green blanket he carries rolled up under one arm when travelling. In this blanket he carries provisions, a whet stone, a utility knife, and usually some dry tinder and flint. However, on his belt in a plain scabbard rested a long gently curved sword, the blade thin in width and yet strong at every point, appearing to be a fearsome weapon in the fox's paws.Job or Position:
Eastern tribesbeast, nephew to the Great Chief.Personality:
Ghost is normally contemptuous towards anybeast approaching him, and is quick to voice an honest opinion out in the open, often in a scathing, sarcastic manner. However, on the rare occasion that somebeast amuses him, this manner turns from condescending to an amicable tone, at least for a time.History and Background Information:
Ghost's history started when he was but a newborn. His mother had heard a name on the West wind, and gave it to him, the name Martin, of the tribe Artek. It was a strange name, to be sure, perhaps a coincidence. Nobeast really knew. Despite this, Ghost was taught the ways of the tribe, to always treat everyone as an enemy, even friends. They were simply referred to as enemies with their backs to him, willing to fight with him against his real enemies. That principle was the foundation of his learning in his early life, his father teaching him the art of the blade, while his mother taught him the wit and the wisdom of the ancients. Through this, he fought fellow tribe members to show what he had learned, following tradition to the letter, up until the Great Chief grew ill. As the seasons passed, there seemed to be less and less hope of recovery. The Ancients (the old and wise council that acts in place of the Great Chief), seeing that a successor was needed to lead their people, set forth a challenge to test the strength and commitment of their leader-to-be. Being of relation to the Great Chief, Ghost was naturally offered to take up the challenge, accepting itafter much thought. The challenge was to go to the Great Sea, and retrieve a token signifying his purity and devotion to the tribe as a leader. Though he accepted the challenge, Ghost had little to no knowledge of the Great Sea, as it only existed in ancient myths and tales. Despite this, he set out on his journey, encountering many travellers who gave him his nickname that he often uses today, as he can slip away through the woods as craftily as smoke on the wind. As of now, the tribal fox takes shelter in a little-known town of vermin, seeking answers to his quest.Any other details:
