Walon spoke up again. "I'll admit, at first I had doubts about Queen Rawnwave. However, These last couple days have showed me that while she may be hesitant, she has a good grasp on the situation, and she will always find the right solution. Just trust in her and her desicions."

At that Moll shot up from the table. She wasn't feeling like she had a good grip on anything at the moment. Babbling incoherantly, " . . . find Barlow . . ." she hurried from the galley out into the hall and headed for the cabin she had been told was being shared by her guardian and Truglim.
((somebody hit me if I start calling them Barlim and Truglow LOL))
Just as Moll was out of sight from the galley door Barlow came in from another direction. He looked around at the beasts seated at the table and huffed, "D'I miss somat?"
Upon reaching the cabin Moll threw the door open without knocking as she had always done back home at the Crow's Nest and started right in, "Barlow, I - I don't know if I can do it. I . . ." She trailed off when she looked up and saw Truglim alone there. "Oh . . . I'm sorry . . ."

Drask looked up at Barlow ((Barlim!!! LOL)) and gestured to the door where Moll just disappeared. "Moll just went to get you, Barlow." He could have laughed at what went on just know, but the general kept his poise and remained silent, reasoning it would be better to laugh about such things later and keep up his reputation in front of the crew, for the time being.
Truglim was surprised by Moll's sudden appearance in his cabin, and he quickly stood up, after having been laying on his bunk. He hesitantly began, "Barlow left 'ere just a minute ago, Ma'am." The stoat was a bit concerned about Moll, she looked shaken about something. Maybe he should have been at his place with her instead of staying in the small cabin and he might have some clue of what troubled her.

((There was actually a Barlem in Outcast. I think he was the recorder.))
"Oh," Moll blushed but she didn't run right back out of the cabin again. She had wanted to talk to the old searat about her father but Truglim had known her father also maybe she could ask him her questions. "They expect me to be just like him. . . my father that is. They were calling me Queen Rawnwave. I just don't know if I can do it. I never met him, y'know. I don't know if I can measure up to his reputation."
Barlow sniffed and grabbed a bowl of the stew. He eyed Lumpy before taking a bite. It was always a bit odd for him to be onboard a ship and not to be in charge of a galley. Eating another beast's cooking always gave him pause. What if it was better than his own? He nodded in Drask's direction without looking at him and then brought the spoon to his mouth and tasted the concoction. He smiled slightly. He could do better if he had the right ingredients available but it was decent. Then he answered, "She'll find me if she really needs something."

Choi looked over to the new beast in the galley, with a wide grin on his face. "Food good? Lumpy can cook up lot of food!" Jimmy found it hard not to smile about the weasel sitting next to him, it was funny to see him always praise Lumpy and the captain no matter what. Even to all these strangers. Drask nodded to Barlow, and looked back down to his food, remaining inconspicuous despite all the commotion.
Truglim didn't respond at first, but thought out what he was about to say to Moll. "You have th' Rawnwave blood. There's no denying it. An' it'll show later, even if you don't feel like much now. Your father always was himself, that's all you have to do t' be his heir. I have faith in you, don't think about the others. They all jus' need somebeast to look up to." His little speech stemmed from something he vaguely remembered her father saying. Truglim hoped he didn't sound to concerned or soft in his words to Moll.

Jayne was staring into her empty bowl, now feeling distinctly awkward with the whole situation. As a slave she was used to eating in the kitchen with the other servants or having a few scraps thrown to her in what ever corner her master allowed her to retreat to for rest. Eating at the table with every level of the ships society had been a new experience for her. Still she wasn't sure if she should stay or go. She was sure that she would eventually be clearing things away and doing the washing but nobeast seemed to be finished yet. And then she thought of something and voiced her question in a whisper to Jimmy, "Who goes to get the Captain's bowl when he's finished?"
Barlow held back a grin, keeping up his tough exterior. He couldn't resist a jibe and Choi's mention that the cook made a 'lot' of food gave him the perfect opportunity, "well sometime quantity is more important than quality." It was meant as a joke and he hoped Lumpy took it as such seeing as he didn't really want to get into a fight his first day aboard the vessel.
Truglim's words had bolstered Moll's confidence and she smiled shyly but she still had to admit, "I guess I still have a lot to learn, probably shouldn't have told the whole crew that we're not going strait to Sampetra. I should have waited till I discussed it with the Captain first." The thought of that reminded her of something. It was only truly on Sampetra that she was a queen. Here on the open sea she was free to do as she pleased, love whom she chose. She wondered if that was what her father had liked so much about it. She looked up into Truglim's eyes now and smiled. She remembered when she had woke up in his arms after she had fainted on the deck of the other ship. "Barlow told me you followed Mama everywhere when you were brought aboard my father's ship. He said you were a right little guard dog. He said he caught you once banging on the captain's cabin door because you'd been listening there when she went in and thought you'd heard her call out." Moll blushed. When Barlow had told her the story he hadn't really told her what Truglim had actually heard and she was sure he probably hadn't told the young stoat on the day he had heard it himself. But she had guessed and she was sure Truglim had figured it out when he was old enough also. She was standing here as a testament of what they'd been up to after all.
