OOC: You can take Andrew over, if ye want. Think I got in over my head, as I am untalented in the areas of healing and such *Ahem* matters.
Sergei watched silently, taking note of the weaselmaid's reluctance. "Go on, miss." He encouraged her, stepping out of the way to allow Kolia passage inside. As he did so he himself felt the warmth from the building leaking out into the open, giving him a mild relief after standing outside with a short-sleeve tunic on.

Vrelt said nothing as Kolia and Sergei spoke to the healer. He took out his skinning knife and sharpened the already lethal blade, which is what he would normally do when he was board. Vrelt glanced at Kolia; he could tell she didn't want to go in. He looked at Sergei, "So Sergei, where are you from?"

Sergei turned his head to look upon Vrelt once more. "Why the sudden interest?" He said evasively. No one really cared to ask him where he was from, and those who usually wanted to know, wanted to know where his bank key was stashed.

Vrelt shook his head, "Cause I don't have nothin' better to do." He turned his icy blue eyes on Sergei, and sheathed his skinning knife, "I'm from Riftgard." Vrelt leaned against the side of the house, "Looks like you've been around Kolia to long; you're starting to pick up some of what she says." He smiled wickedly at the weasel.

Just before Kolia entered the house she pressed the leadrope she'd been carrying into Sergei's paws. "Don't let her go," she whispered. "I need her."
Ally shook her head sadly, she had really been hoping to get to go into the little house and warm up while the healer saw to Kolia. She looked around now at the two male mustelids. She took a deep breath and tried to make herself as comfortable as possible.
Kolia entered the house, eying everything and everybeast with distrust. The vixen looked equally suspicious of her. But the stoat led her back his office benignly. His manor wasn't exactly gentle and Kolia screamed at him more then once to, "Watch those paws!!" which was probably heard by the beasts waiting outside. But his prognosis was good. If she could manage to take it easy the twins might stay put for another whole week. They appeared to still be healthy and strong. Kolia could attest to the strong bit as she was getting beat up from the inside by them nearly all the time now. She exited the house several minutes later with a smile on her face.

Sergei nodded, giving a "Hm." as well, taking a loose hold on the rope, ready to tighten the grip if need be. He looked back at Vrelt, the beast's wicked smile not moving him in the least. "Hey, if you have nothin' better to do, go home. This isn't any o' your business." He declared flatly, a cold breeze ruffling his fur.

Vrelt stared at Sergei, his icy eyes glistening, "My "Home" is hundreds of miles from here. And this is more my business than it is yours; I've known Roask for a long time and I was the one who got Kolia out of Redwall." Vrelt turned to Kolia as she came out of the house, "What did they say?" Then he gave Sergei a look that said 'We'll finish this later'.

Sergei was about to make a point, but Kolia came out of the building. He replied to Vrelt by raising an eyebrow in caution, then looking towards the weaselmaid for an answer as well. He gripped the rope that held Ally, not handing the lead over to Kolia just yet.

Kolia looked back and forth between the ferret and the weasel, trying to sum up the situation. The smile fell from her face. "'E said I've got at least a week yet. Plenty of time to go find that theater healer beast the hare was talking about," She exaggerated. Never mind that the act of finding the healer wouldn't be exactly what the Stoat had called taking it easy. She held out her paw for the lead rope that Sergei was holding.
((the twins kind of have to be born in a thunderstorm so we're going to have to have an unseasonable warm front move through some time when I can get the troupe over to this thread))

((Okay Lol. Break out the fruit punch, Sergei! Darkwood is now in the caribbean!))
"Well, that's good, I guess." Sergei commented, giving her the rope as she gestured for him to do so. He felt odd helping a beast he hardly knew, but he knew he had to.
Every townbeast has a story to tell...
The words came to mind, a quote from someone long gone. Sergei certainly had a story, one that Vrelt wouldn't understand, or anybeast else in this town. Leastways to his reckoning.

"Alright," Kolia still didn't say thank you. She looked around, the sun would be going down soon. She'd have to hurry if she wanted to find a place to camp and get a fire going before dark. "See ya around," She gave the lead rope a tug and started off in the direction of the woods. She might stop back into town to see if the weasel was still interested in helping her in the morning or she might just go and find her own way. She didn't really need him, she figured. She'd gotten along this far on her own.

"Alright." Sergei said. "Just be careful, miss." He advised, in more ways than one. Watching the pair leave, he heard the door to the infirmary open again. It was the vixen. "Uh, Mr. Ramikov..." "...Yeah?" He responded, only moving his eyes towards her. "Have you seen-" "No, Kate. I haven't seen him today. Not yesterday. Not last week." The vixen frowned. " Are you sure?" "Yeah." The vulpine stood in the doorway for a few seconds in silence, also watching Kolia depart. Then, sighing, she went back inside.

Vrelt narrowed his icy blue eyes, "Well I'll be seeing you sometime Sergei." He followed Kolia and walked up beside her, "I'm going back to my camp you can come with me if you want." Vrelt didn't think she would want to come; he didn't blame her, some of the soldiers he recruited from Mossflower weren't the safest to be around.

Kolia on the other paw, as much as she disliked the ferret, didn't fancy having to gather wood and build her own fire. Not if she could have some other beast to do it for her. Her footpaws were tired and her ankles were swollen. She almost surprised herself when she said, "Yeah sure, why not."
Ally was shocked but also glad that she wouldn't have to prepare and make a fire.

Vrelt was surprised she said she wanted to come; he had expected her to call him a fool or something. "Then we need to head back to the town, and get something to eat. No use hunting when you have money and you're close to a tavern." He slowed his pace to match Kolia's, which was to slow in Vrelt's opinion.
