The Cog reaches the dock. thirty Bowcats and ten corsairs had been waiting and guarding the dock. Now they helped their leader and his small team out. With them. Hans' force numbered about fifty. Hans had left the rest of his forces to keep control of the recently taken over territory. Marlfox Island!
The Arctic Fox had a plan. To try Imperialism to take over and control some of the barbarian tribes that might be near or around the lake. This way not only will he have allies that can defend him from all sides but also a almost constant trading source that is easy to get and comes in shorter time. Hopefully the Beasts From Hellgates. The Horde of bowcats he now leads. Had not driven all of the tribes northward near Redwall and Salamandastron.

A tiny little otter ran happily through the trees saying and singing random things in Spanish, a language that most if not all Woodlanders would have a very diffcult time understanding. He was so caught up in his running that he didn't notice the Arctic Fox until he ran into his legs and fell backwards.

The Fox felt something small run into his left leg and looked to his left. Thinking a clumsy drunk corsair had ran into him by mistake. but nothing but air was there....... Than he looked downward and saw the young otter. He made a look of surprise. Of all the things that ever happened. He never heard of a baby otter just crash right into a Fox King with a small army. "Well hello there Otter. Whats a creature like you doing out here without someone looking after you?" He said. He did not want to frighten the young creature. Though his appearance might.

The terrified young otter stood and brushed himself off nervously. Losiento, Senor. I didn't mean to run into you. It was an accident, honest. Please don't hurt me.

The Fox looked at the otter. "Losiento? Never in my life had i ever heard that word before. Only my own Barbarian Langage and English and a few Old English words..."
The army seemed to only be interested in the small otter for a few seconds tha started getting everything ready. Grabbing supplies and sharpening arrowheads and blades.

The little creature's head hung shyly as he spoke quietly. Losiento is Spanish, Sir. It's a rare language here from what Madre told me. It means I'm sorry.

"You are forgiven." The Fox said. He thought on something. Than spoke once more "Are you alone? What are you doing here?" The fox was wondering why a little baby was running around near a lake full of blood thirsty pike...

The Fox King spoke.
"Oh you don't want to be fishing around this lake. The pike are not the average fish. They eat anything they get their teeth on. And there are thousands of them. More than willing to eat anything that tries to eat them."
The fox was a little impressed that such a small creature wanted to take on fish like pike. Even at the risk of being ripped into pieces.

The Fox tsked tsked. "Need to work on your english a little my small friend. I got an idea. How about you stick with me awhile ok?"
The fox had to find someone to take this kid before he does something very bad and gets himself killed. Be a pity for a innocent creature like him to die.

The tiny otter nodded excitedly and hugged the fox's leg with his tiny arms. He paid no attention to the comment about his speech. He knews that he was still small and that his speaking skills would improve with time. He looked up at his new friend and wagged his tiny tail happily, excited to be invited to tag along with a real army.

Hams smiled. Although he mostly dreamed of ending up hitting the big time and gain a huge amount of territory and a castle and army and even more important. Riches and a easy life. He did have thoughts of finding a special someone and starting a family. But that will be a very long time before that happened. For now. He would not only start his Imperialistic March. But now he had to look after a little otter.

The tiny otter marched along with the group, holding a large stick like a sword and trying to march just like they did. He had a little harder time since his legs were smaller, but he kept up very well despite his small size.

The fox was very amused with the otter. He spoke to the creature.
"I got a question Tough Warrior. Had you seen any tribes or groups around his lake? Any at all?"
