The Blood Terror's fenders bumped gently into the dock, as Lorna brought her skillfully to a stop. The fox captain nodded to her first mate, a hulking beast her own species, and disappeared into her cabin. He bellowed at the crew, directing them in preparing the ship for being in port a while.
Meanwhile, Lorna was shedding her simple canvas trousers and shirt, dabbling some of the dirt and sweat off with some water, and dressing in silvery-gray silk pants, narrow in the hips and ankles, but wide elsewhere. She also donned a sleeveless silk blouse, backed with leather, and fastened her breastplate over it.
Buckling her scabbard and sword onto her belt, she stepped out on deck. "All ashore who's going ashore!" She called, walking daintily down the gangplank. She twirled lightly on one footpaw when she reached the dock, regarding the ship guard with a sharp and stern eye. "If I find a one of you with grog on his-- or her, breath, the whole crew of you get to meet my cat-o-nine." The five shuddered inwardly and nodded briskly, promising to stay sober on watch that night.
"Good." Lorna twirled again, and followed by her crew, strolled up the dock towards Kirrune.

"He or she who controls Terramort. Controls the seas also." Herrick thought. That! Was how it went in the far reaching kingdom of piracy. Land beasts think most pirates mostly only group up as captains and his or her crew in ships, but other than that. All lone wolves, but they are wrong! When someone takes the throne of Terramort! That beasts has almost every pirate under his or her command. Almost everyone of course. There were some that had either changed their ways, are new pirates or captains themselves and know nothing of Terramort, Have served under Kings, Queens and Lords elsewhere, live in a place even out of his reach or had died.
For now, he only had his pirates do raidings on small settlements near the shore and merchant ships on the sea. He didn't want to mess up as Pirate King in less than a few weeks...
The Stoat has cleaned himself up a bit since his takeover of Terramort. Taking much needed baths and some sleep. Normally most pirates never took a bath. But HE HIMSELF was an exception. But now he looks a lot better. He does not look like some dead beast that was still walking anymore. Besides, it would do his image as king much better if he was just a little bit cleaner. He was donning his now cleaner and nicer looking viridian silk tunic and black sash with his sabre at his side.
Herrick was standing at a window, looking out into the deep dark sea. The place where a monster that had been trying to kill him for years on end can't reach him anymore. He has nothing to fear now. Nothing at all.....
Still... The Stoat could not help but to hold his chin in deep thought. He has heard some stories from his raiding pirates that some cogs they had boarded and tried to raid not only had fellow corsairs and pirates ready to cross blades with them. NOT ONLY had goodbeasts fighting at their side, But also had NOTHING on them but fresh, yet slimy and weird tasting water. NOTHING ELSE!
Where are these ships coming from? How come there are both vermin and goodbeasts working togther? But most importantly, if that water IS their only cargo.... Who could they possibly be trading with? What empire or kingdom only wants water?

Lorna dispensed her crew with the burly first mate to watch over them and sauntered up to the fort. She'd heard from the Crazed Cat's captain that there was a new sea king. Lorna had not given her loyalty to the last king, and she had no intentions of giving them to this king.
Unless it was to her advantage. She reached the fort's big double doors and slipped inside. She clucked her tongue at such shoddy gatekeeping. Wandering about the fort with a purpose, she finally saw a fancily dressed stoat looking out a window. Lorna ran her fingers through her head fur and the fur on her tail, adjusting her clothes before approaching the stoat.
"Hello, do you know where I might find the sea king?" She asked.

Herrick turned to face the fox, even though he looked a lot better since he took Terramort. He was still a very fearsome looking creature.... Which is to be expected. Being known as the "Devil of the Seas" for so long. There had been many legends and rumors flying about him. Though the most noted ones were of the death and sink count he might have caused when corsairs and pirates were constantly trying to catch him and the treasure he had years ago, which was claimed to have been taken from a bloodthirsty civilization from the New World Jungles. So meeting Herrick face-to-face must have been either pretty chilling or pretty amazing.
"I am." He said. A simple and non hesitant answer. "If it's about these ships with nothing put slimy water to raid than i don't want to hear about it. I have enough to deal with already." Something to add to appearance was one of his legs. With patches of fur missing and in their place. Weird, ugly and round wounds. No wounds any beast had ever seen before.

Captain Waveblade and his first mate nileclaw pulled the Rusty Rudder in to dock at Terramont, they were in need of repairs and supplies for the upcoming voyage to mossflower and maybe some new seaman. " i'd love a nice flask of seaweed grog if i can find it'' Shouted Waveblade... ''Yeeesss that would put some fya in our belly's'' replied nileclaw. "well the faster we tie the lines the faster we be drinkin'' Waveblade could not help but to think about who would own such a fortress and could their word be trusted.....
