Hullo all.
Lately I've thought up a few chars that belong in the infamous "Red Horde" that I came up with. Now, obviously I can't man(or wo-man XD) the entire range of horde officials by myself, so I'm offering a few of them for adoption.
Also, if you have any chars you want to put in Red Horde, you can PM me to see if their position is open(there are finite amounts of officers, afterall.). As of now there are: (From highest ranking to lowest)
(1) Lieutenant position vacant.
(1)Colonel vacant
(4)Field Marshals vacant
(5)Captains vacant
and (2) Special Operations Officers vacant (these are the spies and assassins)
Now, to the adoptees:
#1---Lieutenant Serpenztung
Species: Corsac Fox (if you don't know what this is, ask me)
Alignment: EVIL (of course)
Age: 35 years
Appearance: The Corsac fox is much larger than any other species of fox, closer in size to a small wolf than any other canid. He is mottled gray, brown, and tan all over, but has a black patch of fur on his forehead shaped like a "Y". He is highly muscular and has blood-red eyes. His canine teeth jut forward slightly from his mouth.
His clothing consists of a long coat made from the pelt of an arctic fox he slew long ago, which he keeps tight to his waist by a belt made from a grey squirrel's brushy tail. Atop his coat he wears thick leather chest and shoulder armor, most likely made from more foxhide. As a show of rank, he wears a swirling velvet cape of royal blue fastened at his throat with a gold brooch styled like a fanged skull (the eyes set with rubies). He is the epitome of barbaric splendor.
Weapons: His only weapon besides his brute strength is a long sword with a blade that weaves back and forth until the deadly barbed tip.
Occupation: He is the 2nd in command in the Red Horde, taking orders directly from Gan. Gherru.
Personality: Serpenztung is in love with his own strength, guile, and savagely brilliant appearance, esstially a major nassisist. To his fellow officers, he is subtlely rude and constantly tries to reinforce the fact that he is indeed higher than all of them. To Gen. Gherru, he is flattering and a major suck-up, but remains respectful to maintain his high rank. To anyone else, especially the battleslaves, he is unimaginably cruel; he is known to crack a joke that isn't particularly funny just to have the chance to flog the slaves that didn't laugh. This may just be because he thinks he has a superb sense of humor, but really falls short of this...
Background: Serpenztung came from a land to the far northeast, across the Eastern seas. His clan was feared far and wide for their practice of eating the raw hearts of enemies they killed in battle in order to gain their strength. The Corsac foxes also had a taste for the flesh of other foxes, even when starvation did not motivate them.
Serpenztung came to Mossflower only because the lands of the Corsacs had already been devastated by the many wars his clan waged, and he was simply looking for new turf to squander. When his ship landed on the shores of the Northeast, he was met by Gen. Gherru himself and 100 of the Red Horde's soldiers. Serpenztung quickly joined, rising in the ranks rapidly. Since then he has been Gherru's right-paw beast, taking the most difficult assignments in stride.
Other stuff: This Corsac fox has a fear of enclosed spaces... His accent emphasies "r" sounds.
No family is known, and few even want to be his friend.
#2--- Captain Lowmuer
Species: Rabbit
Age: ~20 years
Allegiance: Evil
Appearance: Lowmuer is a rather pretty rabbit with a slight build and no dibilitating scars whatsoever, but looks can be decieving. She has a patchy fur coat that is white, gray, and black. Her head is mostly gray except for her ears (one white and one black with only the tips grey) and a ring of white around her left eye. Speaking of eyes, hers are odd indeed, her left one is blue but the right one is black.
Her clothing is simple but fine: a soft lavender tunic with a tan belt holding it tight to her waist, and a long brown cloak. On her left chest she keeps the Red Horde's crest of Captaincy(A red triangle with an "R" on it within a yellow circle).
Weapons: She is armed with an arming sword and a longbow with quiver of thirty arrows.
Occupation: One of six Captains in the Red Horde. She is at the top of the Captains' ranks and commands 150 of the evil army's Base Contigent.
Personality: Lowmuer is very quiet, unervingly quiet. She rarely speaks more than three words in succesion, and she hates being forced to. This rabbit always seeks solitude and despises the company of other beasts. This might be because of her extreme paranoia: She believes that always, somewhere, someone is plotting to kill her, either an aggreived battleslave or a righteous assassin. Anyone whom she suspects wants to kill her then becomes the target of the most horrible forms of abuse; her favorite method is when she slowly removes their arms with wire nooses...
History: She came from a well-to-do family in the village of Noonvale. Her family was a major influence in the northern town, but that led to some major problems: When she was five she was kidnapped by a band of ermine and pine martens that wanted a high ransom for her return. Though she was eventually rescued and the kidnappers sentenced to imprisonment, she forever became convinced that somebeast was always plotting to take her life.
Feeling vulnerable, she turned to making herself a formidable fighter in order to protect herself. She took it a bit too far. One day an otter friend came up behind her and was ruthlessly stabbed for "trying to kill her". She then fled south, convinced in herself that soon the whole town would be after her blood. She joined the Red Horde shortly afterwards in order to bolster her self-esteem by having such protection in numbers.
Other Stuff: Mother--Hildrema Father--Jarmori
#3-- Special Operations Officer Tharaddu Steeltalon
Species: Arctic Fox
Age: 28 years
Allegiance: Evil
Appearance: Tharaddu is not particularly big or powerful-looking for a fox, but he wears an almost permanent scowl. In the cold seasons his fur is pure white except a small black spot on the tip of his tail, and in the warmer months his pelt is a blothchy grayish-brown. His eyes are the most strange thing about him; they are black, but also the whites are not normally visible. He is missing all of his canine teeth from being struck in the jaw a few times too many.
He wears his polished steel breastplate always, and a helmet that is dyed with reddish streaks. He wears several sling-like garments of wolverine of bear pelt that together form a mottled covering from his lower chest to his knees. His infamous gauntlet, and his namesake, is strapped to his right wrist.
Weapons: His gaunlet: It is equipped with two deadly steel hooks that look like long talons.
Occupation: Special Operations Officer in the Red Horde. He oversees all spying and assassination activity in the horde's business. He commands 25 spies, trackers, and assassins.
Personality: Tharaddu is unbelievably aggressive and stubborn. He loathes having to work with others and is often very violent with beasts that don't like his ideas. The only creature that he is ever remotely kind to is his mate, another Arctic Fox in the Red Horde named Seriva Wytecall. Sometimes even she is the target of his raging temper. Despite his ferocity, Tharaddu is a beast of honor when it comes to one-on-one battle.
History: Tharaddu and his mate Seriva came from the Land of Ice and Snow when they were teenagers looking for greener country and a better-equipped group of wrong-doers to fall in with. They were discovered by Lieutenant Serpenztung while he was raiding a village, and the Corsac fox liked Tharaddu's style. He and his mate were immediately recruited, with Tharaddu given a decent rank right off the bat. Seriva is still a bit envious of this.
The only mission he has ever failed would be the one that stayed with him. His contigent of trackers and assassins were pursuing an escaped slave when they were attacked by a few treerats who were covering their friend's escape. He was struck twice with slingstones and knocked out.
The slave got away, and Tharaddu awoke with a severely injured pride. Now failure of a mission is something he would slay himself over, and slay anybeast else over if they should fail.
Other Stuff:
Father--Herndor Rakeclaw
Mother--Ievie Opaleye
Mate--Seriva Wytecall
P.S.: Red Horde still exists in the new plotline, however, it is more involved in subterfuge and is not very big in the Mossflower region. The North is it's main base of operations.
That's all I have so far, but I'll update perioidically. Happy posting!
