Drask continued his march down the hallway and already he detected the wonderful smell of delicious food cooking. He smiled inwardly, Moll apparently got a feast together for them, and if the smell was a judge of the food, it was going to be a great feast. Drask shoved open the kitchen doors and quickly walked in, surveying all that was going on; until he saw Moll. She was covered with flour and looked like the lowly barmaid he met back at the Crow's Nest. "Queen Moll, I don't mean to be rude, but what in hellgates are you doing? There's guests coming here and you don't quite look like a queen." He was sure Callista would react strongly to seeing Moll like this, and the general didn't think it was fitting for Rawnwave's daughter to be cooking, they had many cooks that could do so.
Alexander pointed at Zahn, "You will escort Callista to her room when the guard returns with a slave to aid her. Renak, Krauser, you follow me. We're going to check on the kitchens and make sure there's a feast cooking. Callista, if you wish you may come along to see if the cooks can prepare anything special that you like." The Pine Marten knew Drask intended to check on the kitchens, but he was eager to try a little of what they were serving. Alexander looked forward to digging in to some good food, any drinking lots of that wine Drask liked.

Callista was starting to get the feeling that this may drag on for a bit longer. Which she didn't mind. Like she had said before. She needed a bath and some clean cloths. Though she wondered what KIND of clothing she would get. She shook her head when Alexander said if she would want to come to the kitchens. "No. I think i would much rather get a bath and a change of clothing before i even think about going to any room in public. Besides. Even if i don't get the change to come see the cooks to tell them what i would like. I'm sure they have already fixed at lest one thing i like."
When Krauser was said he would follow Alexander along with Renak to the kitchens. He smiled wickedly. "Cooks are mean asses here too? Don't worry. They won't be like that if i have to say anything about it. Bahahahahahaha........"

"Barlow left me for the sea, and our new cook his hopeless. Somebeast had to make sure you and your party wouldn't be poisoned." Moll wiped off her paws on a towel and crossed the room to Drask. "How've you been?" She had come to think of the ferret as a good friend so she didn't think twice about greeting him with a hug.
((ha ha let somebody come in and find them like that))

For a second Drask let's his arms hang to his sides, but eventually he hugged Moll back, realizing she was the best friend he had right now. He broke off from the embrace quickly, however and smiled slightly, "How have I been? Well picture this; General Darkfang stranded in Mossflower and attacked by some kind of savages for days, then meeting a smart mouthed "Royal" Pure Ferret, who loves to argue a little to much. Then I got stuck on that bloody ship with her and her crazed stoat friend! But I'm doing quite well other than those minor misfortunes." He looked up in surprise after his retelling of events to see Alexader and the other two standing there staring straight at him at Moll.
The weasel Renak smiled wickedly, "Well, it looks like General Drask has picked out his slave. And she isn't even his species! Nice choice though, she looks pretty good." He had come into the kitchen just in time to see Drask and Moll hug, and that was all he needed to be convinced of who this weaselmaid was.
Alexander was even more surprised than Drask; he had never seen the General display any signs of affection to anybeast, including Queen Moll, who looked like a barmaid straight from one of their taverns. He looked crossly at Renak, "Fool! That's Queen Moll! Get on your knees in her presence, Renak, and don't insult her."

When Krauser heard Alexander speak out at Renak like that. It was luckily for him, BEFORE he was about to enter the kitchens. He automatically turned and walked in the other direction. Not wanting to have to bow down to somebeast that he did not serve. Oh no. if there was a chance he could avoid that. He'd take it. For now. He was just heading back to Callista and Zahn to make sure Callista was well protected and safe. If they expected a short, little fox to protect her than they're more crazy than he is.

Moll smirked at the other two beasts who had entered the kitchen behind Drask and winked at the surprised weasel in thanks for the complement. Then she turned back to Drask. "You can tell me all about it at dinner. I was just about to go up and get dressed." She crossed towards the door but looked back. "Just make yourself at home and if you need anything . . . ask one of the servants. They know this place better than I do." She laughed and ran out into the hallway without paying attention to where she was going. She ran smack into a rough looking stoat and yelped in surprise.

Alexander saluted to Drask, "Well, I'm off to get cleaned up for the feast, general. I'll take this fool Renak to a room and get him geared up with one of your standard uniforms." He took off through a different hallway than Moll, taking Renak to the upper barracks to his new chambers. Alexander's room was located near Drask's room which was close to Queen Moll's royal chambers, signifying his high rank on Sampetra.
Drask looked around at all the servants and nodded, "Keep doing what you're doing and make sure that there is some rich damson wine served at the feast." He took off in the same direction that Alexander and Renak, heading to his room to get cleaned up as well. The general looked forward to scrubbing that blasted sea smell off of his fur, and then devouring the feast with Moll and the rest.
Zahn tried to appear as tall as possible, puffing out his chest and holding his shoulders back as they waited for the guard and slave. The guard finally arrived with the young female otterslave, she bowed to Callista, "Milady, I will show you to your chambers if you follow me."
Zahn spoke up to the weaselguard, "Get back to your post, soldier." The guard saluted him and marched back to the gate, leaving the otterslave with Zahn and Callista.
(You can NPC or NCP, can't remember what the abbreviation is, the otterslave, Cole.)

Krauser stood there for a moment. Flour on his face and his dirty tunic with a angry look on his face. These cooks were horrible. Both in making good decent food AND watching where they are going!
"Wa- ACHOO!" He sneezed real hard. Sending a puff of flour flying from his face and into the air. He stood there and sneezed one more time. THAN he exploded out angry. "WATCH WHERE YOUR GOING! FODDER! IF YOU COOKS CAN'T COOK! AT LEST MASTER THE ABILITY TO WATCH WHERE THE HELL YOUR GOING!"
When Callista saw the otterslave. She was impressed. She was expecting either a male slave of any species or one that was just plain ugly. This creature had some manners and did not look sick or anything. "Lead on." She said. Ready to follow the otter slave.
But suddenly. Callista heard Krauser yell out and her attention was turned....
(Cara. You can NPC or NCP the Otterslave. xD LOL! )

The ottermaid curtsied politely but then went white with fright under her fur at the noise. Still what ever it was was not her problem she had been told to bring Lady Callista up to the room that Queen Moll had ordered to be prepared for her. "If' you'll just come this way?" she said timidly, knowing that the ferret Lady had already been distracted and was not listening to her.
Moll had been about to apologize before the stoat's outburst but that had just made her angry. She didn't have the common sense enough to be fearful in that moment. She just placed her paws on her hips and stared him down. "No see 'ere. . ." the weaselmaid reverted to her dockside accent.
But she was saved any more of her speech by the captain of her personal guard hurrying down the corridor. The lithe stoatmaid was several inches taller than her mistress but just as thin. And where as Moll was prettily rounded in all the right places this other female was athletically lean and powerful looking in her black leggings and tunic. This was the comfortable garb that she generally wore under her ceremonial uniform but the cries had interrupted her from her own dressing. She was armed with only one of her swords and she held it in a ready position.
"Are you alright, m'Lady? Is he bothering you?" She asked, keeping a wary eye on the offending stoat. Her voice was calm and warm, deep and resonate but unmistakably female.
Moll huffed, "I'm just fine, Larka. I believe this gentlebeast," she said the word with a bit of a growl, "is one of those who is joining us for dinner. For which I am now even later getting dressed than I was." She stormed off in the direction of her chambers without looking back.
Larka's eyebrows raised marginally but other than that there was no divulging of emotion positive or negative as she looked the male stoat up and down with an appraising stare. It wasn't until she turned away from him and sprinted back down the hallway after her mistress that she allowed a small smile to touch her lips.

((Since all my chars. are getting ready for the feast I'll just post with Zahn until the feast starts.))
The short fox looked in the direction of Krauser screaming out something, wondering who provoked him into that enraged state. It wasn't something he wanted to investigate, though. Zahn looked over to Callista, "Well, madam, are you ready to go to your room?" He was eager to get the feast under way so he could get his reward if he behaved there, which he was sure he would have no problem doing.
((Shortness....))

Krauser was far too pissed to be even slightly intimidated by the sword that had been pointed at him just moments ago. Point a damn sword at me... Run into me like that... He thought angrily. He'll get her back...... and Moll too even if he is not able to do so directly. If there was one thing Krauser always made sure of. He always got the last slash, insult or at lest. The last laugh.....
The stoat stormed off. Back to Callista to give his defence and support. Small foxes can never do his job. At lest. Never as good a job as he can.
When Callista noticed the stoat heading her direction. She was immediately more calm and less alert. Knowing now that her only bodyguard was safe and unharmed. She willingly followed the fox and otterslave.

Larka caught up easily to her fuming monarch. "M'Lady, you should watch yourself. That one looked like he could be a dangerous beast. If I hadn't been right there. . ."
Moll interrupted her spinning around and dropping her voice to an angry whisper, "He insulted my cooking."
At that the stoatmaid couldn't help it. She burst out laughing.
The queen rolled her eyes, embarrassed and annoyed, "What?"
Still trying to control her laughter Larka coughed and answered, "Of all the things you could be upset over your angry because he insulted your cooking which you shouldn't even be doing in the first place and he's never even tasted it."
Moll still did not see the humor in the situation. "Well he will at dinner and he'll just have to eat his words."
"Eat his words," Larka repeated laughing again. "That's a good one Majesty."
Moll rolled her eyes again and stormed into her chambers where several servants were waiting to help her dress.

Zahn lead the way through winding hallways, several long flights of stairs, and finally to a large door. "Madam, Welcome to your new chambers here at Sampetra." With that he opened the door and revealed a huge bedroom; in the center was a large bed which had curtains around it, along the walls were paintings of the sea and various other landforms, the room was richly furnished. Against one of the walls was a large wardrobe and against the opposite wall was a heavy looking desk. Two large windows located on both sides of the bed let sunlight into the huge room. Zahn whistled in amazement, "Wow, Madam Callista, you have some friends in high places." The short fox hoped his chambers would be as nice as Callista's, though he doubted Drask would provide him with such a grand area to live.

Callista smiled when she saw the room. It was cute. The cute looking bed with the curtains, the beautiful paintings, they way the light entered the room. It was all beautiful. Palaces may not look as good or tough as a castle on the outside but oh boy do they look GREAT on the inside! Now all she would need is a nice bath and a change of cloths and she would be set for the feast.... Though she wondered what room Krauser would get...
The Pure Ferret smiled at the fox. "Of course. As it should be. I bet you will get a great room yourself though. Despite your height. You look like great captain material. Lest to me. I'm not sure about stiffs like Drask."

Moll still wasn't really used to all this attention: There was a creature to brush her fur, one to care for her claws, two to help her into her dress and still more to assist with stockings and shoes. While they completely transformed her from just another kitchen maid to the Empress of the entire island and the surrounding seas, she peppered them with questions. "Did we provide the Lady Ferret with the proper accommodations and clothing?" "Yes, M'Lady." "What is her name again?" "Callista, Your Majesty." "Callista, right. I'll have to remember that. And the rest of the party? Are they taken care of?" "Lady Callista has a body guard who needed a room. We put him just down the hall from her." "Good. I want her to feel safe during her visit."
