On a sunny but still cold morning, a ship with two large white sails and a large flag bearing a large, blue ice covered looking otter pawprint. In the middle of the pawprint was an otter skull with a knife and a fang acting as crossbones. As the ship pulled into the jetty, a large, brawy otter wearing blue pants, a white shirt, and a tan vest with a red headband leapt onto the bow railing.

Sharktail. Captain of Dock Patrol. Was walking to the docks with 5 other patrol members following behind. They could be identified by they're trade mark, Steel breastplates. Something almost no pirates wear. Although they were called "Dock Patrol" They're jobs was NOT to keep the peace in the bars, markets and such. That was impossible. There was always dozens of fights, murders and acts of drunken idiocy every day! Instead. They simply kept unwanted visitors from docking and staying. Like Goodbeasts or enemies of Herrick. Sharktail was they're captain. A black furred rat with an narrow face and an ugly scar running down between his eyes, down the left side of his muzzle, Ending at the bottom lip. He was strong but slightly overweight by about 10 pounds.
When Sharktail saw the otter and his ship. He judged it by eyes instead of decent amount of thinking. It didn't look very gritty, salty real seascum-like, but it didn't look much like a goodbeast or enemy ship either. So he simply wrote it off as an amature pirate crew. Besides. It was likely they would be killed in some bar anyway.

Caruso, the otter, leapt onto the dock as his ship docked and helped secure the ropes. After he finished that task, he turned and glanced around the area, making note of every creature in site.
