The otter's ears perked curiously as he heard a rustle in the tree branches nearby, but acted as if he hadn't heard anything and hoped none of the others had noticed.

Rabisat look at Virek after he had made his sarcastic statement and made a disgusted look. "Thy sarcastic comment must be the most saddest thing methinks has ever heard. Ye shall not go very far in the mortal realm with that kind of attitude. Though mayhaps time with us shall fix thou horrible flaw--" She had both heard and saw the rustle in the tree branches, with almost blinding speed from being jumped up with sudden adrenaline rush and paranoid jumpiness. She had fired an arrow right into the tree bushes. Two more shortly followed by her soldiers and friends Skuld and Ulfr. Who had shot with more force since Rabisat had done her shot with such speed that she had not pulled the string all the way back before she fired her arrow, though it could still quite possibly may have wounded or killed whatever had rustled those bushes... unless it was just the wind.
The other beasts had they're weapons at the ready, all greatly regretting the fact they had no shields to protect themselves with in case the foebeast just happen to have some projectile weapons.

Virek opened his mouth to reply when the rustle in the bushes prompted Rabisat and the others to open fire with their bows. The young ferret cursed them inwardly, that was no way to deal with a threat in his opinion. They should have prepared for an attack, but always heed the possibility that whatever rustled the bushes could be helpful to them; Virek was much more cautious when it came to stuff like this, and that is why he considered himself the brains of this outfit. These primitive beasts from the Northlands may be cunning, but to Virek it seemed they lacked proper mental skills when it came to these types of things. The young ferret held his short sword at the ready, prepared to face any threat from the unknown beast that may be in the bushes.

The otter perked up, growling slightly as a Pine Marten stepped out of the trees next to him with his paws raised.

Rabisat was now even more upset than before. Not only was the threat nothing more than a single pine marten and therefore, a complete waste of arrows, but the fact that by a miracle they all missed! The albino arctic fox let her displeasure be known to all. " A single Pine Marten..... Thanks to ye, we wasted some much needed arrows! If ye were vermin! WHY DIDN'T YE SAY ANYTHING INSTEAD OF SNEAKING AROUND US!? FOOL! ROPE HIM!"
Skuld and Ulfr had they're aimed on the marten as the two fox brothers, Brandr and Haraldr. Had they're weapons in one paw and the ropes on the other.

A broad smile spread across Virek's face, this was the consequences of acting without thinking it out. He knew that his allies would lose something because of their quickness to strike at shadows, even it was just a few arrows. Virek sheathed his short sword and somehow stopped himself from saying something he would regret to Rabisat, any other time he would have, but the albino arctic fox wasn't in any mood for that kind of stuff. He knew that it fell on him to deal with the arrival of the Pine Marten, after briefly winking at the enraged Rabisat, Virek addressed the newcomer. "You seem to have approached my friends the wrong way. I would suggest complying with them if you value you life."

The Pine Marten hissed, baring his sharp fangs. I wasn't named Wolverine for nothing. My scars prove how good a fighter I am. You still wanna try getting near me? Be my guest if you all have a deathwish. He was heavily relieved that they didn't seem to notice his blindness.

Rabisat was not even listening to what Virek had said and what he was trying to do. She was not in the mood to listen. Besides, he was just a kid. He didn't know much on strategy and war. Nevermind battle and witty thinking. The ferret only THOUGHT he was. The albino arctic fox aimed her next arrow at the pine marten dead center. responding in a more calm, but still angry tone. With a bit of sarcasm in it as well. "And i was not named "I don't give a rat's ass" for nothing. You stand still and keep your paws behind your back and that fat mouth shut and i won't shoot you with a barbed, poisoned arrow. Nicely dipped in adder's venom to deal with troublesome fools like you."
It was a half lie. The arrow was not dipped in anything, but it IS barbed and therefore. would cause a nasty, possibly lethal wound. Which would further damage and wound the pine marten if he dared tried to pull it out.

Virek had no problem with Rabisat handling the Pine Marten her way, it would be just as easy as his. Though the young ferret tried to deal with the new arrival justly, he had no pity for him any longer after he threatened Rabisat. Virek nodded in agreement with the arctic fox's orders, "I would listen to her if I were you, Pine Marten. She always means business." The young ferret would have gladly shot the Pine Marten with his bow at the moment as well, but he would leave all of the killing up to the others and he would kill along with them.
((Darned Shortness....))

The Pine Marten tensed and growled softly. And what have I done to you aside from causing a slight waste of arrows? They can easily be recovered, you know. I'll even fetch them myself for you, but I haven't harmed you in any way.

Thia was just flying around carrying her healing things with her and looking for hurt animals and went a little further than she planned. She landed on a nearby tree and looked at the unfamiliar territory. "where did i end up this time?" she sighs. She continues flying in a direction hoping to get back to where she wanted to be until she heard some noises and flew towards the noise. As soon as she got there she was in for a surprise.

The silver otter glanced out of the corner of his eye at her, but didn't turn in her direction. He didn't want to attract attention to her and risk the vermin around him attacking her.

She flew off still listening for anything strange but never heard anything. She sighed slightly at all the quietness around. She continued looking around but was even more lost than she wanted to be. "great now where in the world did i end up again?" she said with some frustration in her voice. "all the animals are quiet which isn't a good sign nor is it a good sign that i'm lost. I should either stay here for the night or fly around till i see an animal that will help me." She was in soo much debate that she didn't notice the noise of the bushes moving.
