Age: 43 years (172seasons)
Species: Otter
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Good
Appearance:
Ringu is a lean creature, whose strength in years past is evident, even if middle age robbed him of much of it. Blanketed in grey fur Ringu has always had the appearence of a beast older then he truly is. The twisted scars, and mutilated right jaw, always set into a sneer, makes him look even crueler then he has ever been capable of. The only part of Ringu that is not easy to forget, besides his sharp tongue, is of course his eyes. Set in his lean battle hardened face they are a brilliant orange, a hunters orange, as some relate it to. When not blazing in anger these once enchanting eyes are hollow, and devoid of anything resembling a soul.Belongings:
Ringu's fur is obviously not well cared for, while he does take baths he does nothing in the way of grooming himself, which shows in the way his fur flares about in all directions. Ringu usually ears a non-descript tunic, of white, grey, green, or pale cream, all of which are tattered, and stained with liquids one does not wish to think about.
Moving on we get to his ears, the right is studded with a single earring, where a orange stone of some kind is stuck on a metal hoop. Unlike most otters his tail is devoid of decoration. It is perhaps the only part of him that has no scars to speak of as well.
Ringu's teeth are quite the commodity. In fact they are quite the deadly odd things. Using a file he had managed to obtain from a old wife rat, he sharpened them down to cut like any blade, and they have always been his most trusty weapon in tough times. His claws have undergone much the same treatment, making hi mclumsy with anything that is not a cup of whiskey, or a trusted javelin shaft.
Ringu is a master of javelins, and uses much shorter, bladed ones for short ranged combat. In his haversack he has a pouch for every seperate thing, one for extra wood, another for rocks, and the last for rusty blades for traps, which can kill just as well as any poison. Strapped under his ragged tunic are five javelins. The longest is strapped across his back. Under neath the rods used to hold these he has one more weapon, a small dagger that has only one purpose, to kill Ringu himself if he is ever again caught by slavers.Job or Position:
Slightly mad warrior, with to much alchohol, and way to much unspent rage.Personality:
They do not call Ringu, THE MAD, for is wonderful reasoning skills, and easygoing attitude. This otter lacks almost anything resembling the aforementioned. Ringu at one time had been a open, laid back individaul, who was not prejudiced in his views of vermin and goodbeasts.History and Background Information:
After being captured by a group of slavers, and watched his enitre family, most of which were sick at the time, being burtally murdered. Rage fuels his life, and is the very kindling for his soul, it keeps him going. That and the strongest ROT GUT he can find. It dulls most of his thinking, and takes away any remorse he has.
Of course he does have pills that do that as well. They turn him into a docile beast, who is defenseless in his own rightk, and all semblance of his mind disappears.
The ends of vermin have to be blody to him. Some of his dhrewd cleverness still remains from a age long past, and he uses brutal traps to take down large groups of oppenents, to give himself a fighting chance at winning.
Sometimes he talks to himself, of course since he is halfway to being mad, no one pays attention to what he says. Rage filled. Mad with drunkenss. Shrewd clverness. And just over all insanity make this beast one dangerous critter if you so much as smell like a vermin.
(Most of this has been stated before)Any other details:
Ringu livd a completely normal life, until his earlier 20's with his sickly wife and two cubs. Then the slavers came. His family had just gotten over being sick, and the slavers decided they would only slow them down, and murdered them. For 10 seasons afterwards this otter spent his life hcianed to a rowing bench, and at one point paid a rat-maid with his fur(which she collected) and obtained a file, which he used to get through his own chains, and then used on his teeth. In the short rebeliion that followed the mistreated slaves sunk the ship, adn this otter had been the only one to make it out, being the only one able to swim far enough. Three more seasons were spent on a rocky island, where he made due with large fish. Aftwer that he swam to th mainland, and was lured to Redwall by a mouse warrior, who has stayed with him, and yet his rfriend shows the same symptoms he had all those seasons ago, and has a low probability of ever recovierng.
Nothing of great note that won't be mentioned during Roleplay.
