Anilrep is albino. It's a mystery as to why he's all white. Either of his parents, Verkdyn or Perlina, was albino. Anyway, and, well, albino were, of course, white from head to tail. The weasel had short, soft, usually groomed snow white fur without a single trace of another color, with the exception of his black with a slight hue of pink-red eyes, the underlying retinal blood vessels showing through where there is not enough pigment to cover them, strawberry red nose, and the pinkish ears. Anilrep likes to keep a luster and sheen in his colorless fur, making them sparkling faintly in the sunlight, so from afar, he might seem like a walking patch of snow. To his disadvantage in the tropical island, his bright colorless coat doesn't help with camouflage. Like his father, Anilrep's body is slender and perhaps a bit thinner with a long white tail and short legs. He's lighter and shorter than most weasels. Anilrep adapts a strong point in agility, but his strength his lacking... much.
Required for all Palace Guards, and probably the colors for the majority of the troops, Anilrep usually has on a dark green tunic, dull silver sashes, and matching dark forest green breeches, all made of thin fabric, due to the tropical weather all season long. The young albino personally hated the outfit. As lightly and thinly made as it is, he was normally left scorched outside, although his light-colored fur helps him a bit more in the sunlight. ».belongings
Since Anilrep didn't own a weapon, and refused stubbornly to wield one, a trident was shoved into his paws, and he used that at the beginning of his training. However, the young and weakish weasel was clumsy with the three-pronged spear, so it was replaced with a light, double-edged dirk, found rusted near the shore in the past. The dagger was still rusted from pommel to blade. Anilrep preferred this weapon, although he really felt guilty and sick for some reason whenever he looked at it. When the albino weasel had the time, he was polish the dagger. The weapon had a double-edged, steel-blue blade, a small, gold-hued guard, metal grip covered with sandy leather, and a sapphire-blue pommel stone. Anilrep then spent his free and alone time making a sheath for his weapon. Upon finding an old leather scabbard in the sand, he trimmed and shortened it to the side of his dirt. He got it cleaned and polished to a smooth and glossy scabbard. Anilrep then attached it to his sash, where his paw could reach it. Although Anilrep had never used the dagger for a real purpose to kill, no, of course not, he admired the shiny blue stone and blade.
Furthermore, not only has Anilrep been taught how to wield a dirk, learning how to strike, stab, and cut, but he self-taught himself how to use a bow. Unlike the dagger, Anilrep fares better with a bow and a quiver of arrows. The resourceful weasel made the bow himself. When he found a long and thin piece of hardwood that the tide had carried in by the shore (where he found most of his "treasures"), Anilrep had an idea of learning how to use a firearm. During lonely nights, the young creature would shape out his bow, working on his arrows as well. Using the plumage of a dead seagull, he fletched his arrows with white feathers. As soon as his small, but somewhat sturdy bow was finished, Anilrep went ahead and gave himself lessons on the art of archery. To his utter surprise, the albino found it really easy and simple for him, even on his first try. He was lightly praised when he first displayed it for others to see, unlike the weasel's first try with his dirk. So, his main weapon was the bow, and he became an archer, with the bow around his shoulders and quiver of arrows hung behind his back.

Even at a young age, Anilrep was made of sensitivity, intelligence, and responsibility. Anilrep thought before he did, knew most things about the world that most Dibbuns wouldn't, and was responsible for a little Dibbun, cleaning after himself and helping with chores. He knew what was dangerous and what not to do and was obedient toward all of his elders. He knew right and wrong, yes and no. But although he was clever and well-behaved, Anilrep knew, most of all, how to have fun and just be a Dibbun. If he thought the adventure wasn't dangerous, the albino weasel was in. He, along with his gang of Dibbun friends, would skip bedtime, run from baths, and embark on a quest into the kitchens, their target on a batch of scone by the window.
If you compare Anilrep's resourcefulness and Verkdyn's craftiness, there was a huge difference in between. Anilrep was creative, intelligent, and thought outside the box. Through situations, he was ingenious and venturesome with the thinking, but, although it went beyond, it wasn't reckless or cruel. Some would say that he got it from his parent, but Verkdyn's cunning nature was different. He was a crafty beast, but instead of thinking in an outgoing manner, Verkdyn chose to manipulate, scam, and out-wit others. He was an excellent schemer, though. Verkdyn was sly, slipping, and terribly dexterous. In other words, Anilrep's quick thinking was doing more good, while Verkdyn's was for his own selfish needs through harsh, mean ventures.
Experiencing life in the wondrous Abbey, with friends and loving beasts, all he knew was to be a goodbeast, like the ones that helped him through his early seasons. Unlike many weasels, stoats, rats, ferrets, and the usual kinds of vermin, Anilrep was kind, wholehearted, and friendly. He loved company and friends and welcomed them all with a friendly heart. The gracious weasel would give a helping hand if needed, and got along well with many. Anilrep is a gentle creature, overall. He didn't like violence, especially when his fellow friends would fight amongst themselves, or fall into a disagreement. His earnesty rewarded him with trusting smiles and many friends. Anilrep would do much to please another beast. He likes it when he does another creature good and they are happy.
You could say that the albino weasel is a shy creature. He really is. The weasel normally gets nervous and frightened when the spotlight is on him. He prefers to just be a bystander and let others do the talking, and he'll jump in from time to time. Anilrep is usually quiet and timid, especially when it came to meeting new creatures. But with friends, most of the time, anyway, Anilrep was his normal carefree, and friendly self. Anilrep is just the simple and modest type. He strays from bragging about anything, because it makes him really uncomfortable. Anything he does that others praise or admires him for, he'll shy away and shake his head, embarrassed, or say, "Oh, it was nothing, really." Other times, his cheeks will feel hot (and some say you could see it flush pink from under the thin white fur), and Anilrep will just smile shyly. Anilrep is also a patient and tolerant creature, even to the most annoying beasts.
Anilrep's doctile character sometimes tends to be a weakness. No matter what, Anilrep is known to do whatever he's told and the independence he had younger vanished. Of course, that doesn't mean that you can just walk up to him and tell him to jump into the sea and drown. No, not that. But the albino weasel is just so obedient and native that you could make him believe or do anything and manipulate him. Being one who doesn't like to displease anybeast, Anilrep just does it. He's weak physically and mentally, and can't and won't stand up to them. A bullying situation could easily start with him, with some other big and rough beast being the bully. Some of the more evil and clever beasts will get him to run errands from them and do their dirtywork. Normally, with his father around, Anilrep will give them a no and walk away. But with constant threats and display of power from the foebeasts, Anilrep soon fell into an obedient spell, doing whatever he was told, from whoever.

x just dig a little deeper x ____________________
».history ,
When Anilrep was born, his mother, Perlina, gave up her life for him. He grew up in Redwall as a fellow Dibbun, and believed that this was his home forever. He had all he wanted, plenty of friends, safety, food, and Dibbun adventures. The albino weasel was rather more intelligent and sensible than the other common Dibbun, which his father, Verkdyn, took pride in. But, Verkdyn despised the Redwallers, for he believed they were guilty for letting his wife die. Anilrep could see that his father was hating toward the Abbeydwellers, but for another reason. He thought Verkdyn was mad at how the other Dibbuns acted. Surrounded with foolish and silly playing friends, Anilrep could easily prove that that was the reason. Verkdyn made to show that he hated how the other infants played. They pushed, shoved, and tackled, but, as Dibbuns were, they were only playing. Anilrep knew that, but, he thought his father saw trouble and the older weasel would barge in and cut the game off. The albino was angry that his father had to embarrass him and ruin his fun.
Since Anilrep's knowledge of his father's hatred and plans to betray the Redwallers was bleak, he never saw it coming. The young weasel had just accomplished a successful assignment of stealing the jar of freshly made candied chestnuts from the kitchen. The prize was shared among all who took part of the mission and a "feast" was prepared for the heroes. Anilrep's cunning display of thinking and planning was very well admired when it came to missions like these. After the "feast," the Dibbuns were made to head of to sleep. The Dibbun games had tired him, and the young weasel fell into a deep slumber, dreaming about what he might be doing in the future, like he always did. That night, Verkdyn, Anilrep's father, slipped in and woke him from his sleep. Drowsily, the confused young weasel was dragged out into the Abbey lawns, where the last thing he could remember seeing was a blossom of flames in the dust of twilight. Then the next thing he knew, he and his father was out in Mossflower Woods.
Anilrep was angry at his father, but couldn't and wouldn't show it. He was starting a perfect life in the Abbey, and Verkdyn just had to mess it all up. His father told him about the escape and why they were doing it. He also mentioned the fire, and Anilrep immediately felt fear toward his parent. As the pair traveled out of Mossflower, Verkdyn told him lies after lies about the badness Redwallers had done. Anilrep knew they were false stories from the beginning, but kept his mouth shut. The two haversacks of provisions lasted for awhile, but not forever. Once the pair had made it to the north fringes of Mossflower country, they were low on rations. Anilrep knew that this was the end. They'll starve and die. Verkdyn, however, had other plans. Verkdyn tested out his thieving skills, and it was successful. He stole from homes and creatures as they traveled as his son looked on in despair. As he continued to steal, Verkdyn had grown confident, and tried out his weapon, which was the cursed saber.
The young weasel could only look away helplessly as Verkdyn drew his weapon into action. Thus, his murdering ways began. Anilrep now was in total fear of the creature he once knew as father. But as far as his fright goes, he didn't say anything. The older weasel was so intent on his task of killing. Anilrep disliked the terrain they were entering. It was harsh and bitter, and very unlike the forest surroundings he grew to love. Verkdyn had a direction and steered his toward the coast, where he said a ship would take them somewhere else, somewhere special, called Sampetra. The crew was delighted to have willing recruits and welcomed the pair in. Most took an instant liking to Verkdyn and his collected and sly attitude. However, every single vermin that saw Anilrep immidiately sneered, glared, or chuckled darkly. Anilrep was partically grateful for his father, because without him, he would have been a goner by the time they made it to the island. Verkdyn stood against anybeast that dared lay a tooth, claw, or insult on his son.
Verkdyn lost a few comrades because of his protectiveness for Anilrep, but he wasn't too worried. The older weasel ordered that Anilrep stayed in his cabin and not come out after the failed attempt to make the young weasel warm up to the tough vermin. Still, Verkdyn decided that his son needed somebeast to help him with that. When he learned of the positions opened as soldiers under Moll, Queen of Sampetra, Verkdyn was eager to enroll Anilrep to some training as a guard. At least he'll be useful. Anilrep was a failure at the beginning of his trip. He instantly disliked the sea and waves, and especially the vermin crew. Anilrep grabbed a long, tattered rag and huddled pitifully in a corner of his father's cabin.
Anilrep had changed, just like his father, but for the worst. He was even more insecure and weak than before. Usual harsh treatment from the vermin beasts secured all of this. He turned spiritless as soon as he hit the island, well, not that he wasn't already during the trip there. It was as if there was nothing left in the world. But the young weasel had his hopes. One day, he'll sail back to the lands he knew and find Redwall. He'll hopefully be accepted in and will live out his season there, where he had comfort and love. Anilrep was quickly put in as a Palace Guard and began his training. Even for lessons for a to-be guard, it was hard for the gentle and softhearted weasel. When he did pass his trainer lessons somehow, Anilrep was still a poor and useless soldier. Even as a guard, he wouldn't do anything nasty or brutal. He was picked out of everything, and was always chided cruelly for his useless effort into his duty. So, Anilrep ended up more of a slave and servant than a guard at times.
But when he wasn't enduring the harsh treatment of the other vermin, Anilrep would retreat to his "special place." In the corner, behind his bunk, was a small hole. Curious, the weasel began to pick and dig at the hole. It was a narrow tunnel, poorly patched up, but, surprisingly, never found, going down to a small hollow in the ground. When he had free time, Anilrep will dig at the cavity and made it larger. Once it was big enough for his liking, Anilrep made this is "special place." Now, he could enjoy peace and quiet time with nobeast else. But Anilrep was careful to hide it with rags and other materials he could find and not act suspicious. But that was only when he had some alone time. It was as if his future was roaming the Palace halls with stiff figures and faces. It looked like a meaningless and harsh future, but the young, but very mature weasel had his hopes. Maybe one day. ».family ,

» Although he has a rather poor-ish sight, Anilrep's smell and hearing are superb. In the middle of his training and work, which he hardly participates in, Anilrep taught himself the ways of a tracker. His fur makes it hard for him to blend in with the background, but he depends mainly on his hearing and smell. His sensitive nose can detect a creature's odor from afar, and his hearing can even pinpoint the heartbeat of one nearby. » Like his father, Anilrep was given the trait of lacking the vermin tongue and dialect.

Aw, tankiez, Cara. -hugs- I've always been curious to feel and see what it feels like to be in a bully situation. Of course, I wouldn't like to be in one, but always curious. Plus, I just can't... act and play as a rough vermin, so my attempt to make the normal vermin will be a phailure. xP
Heehee. I'm being put into a plot. Yee! -triumphgrin- Thank you much, Cara! <3333
