Through the avenue of trees, along the brown path winding in-between the silent sentinels she walked. Humming softly to herself, she made quite a figure. Half skipping, half walking; the fox seemed like a little girl. And indeed, she was young; younger than most would believe considering. Coiled at her hip was a snake, no. Just a whip. Kallus was wandering, and like always; she seemed mostly unaware of the real world. At one point, she sat down demurely on a stump, and fanned her face with a handful of leaves plucked from a nearby tree. "My, my. Thank you so much. A kind gentleman to offer a lady a fan. What's that? Oh no, I'm visiting here because of my aunt, you see. She likes to live in these hot places." She sighed and placed her hands in her lap, still addressing the tree. "You are a bold one, aren't you? I'm sorry though, I'm betrothed, see?" She held out her hand for the tree, showcasing the ring with it's opalite stone. "He's a soldier though, so I hardly see much of him. Well, good day, goodbeast." With that she got up, and continued her walk down the dusty path. A few feet later, and she leaned against a tree. "Well, should I have some lunch then? I'm awfully hungry. It's nice and cool, under this tree, so nothing cooked. Maybe some berries would be nice." Hearing her, you would think that the previous scene had not been acted out. She seemed more aware of her surroundings, not walking or talking in the daze she had frequented earlier. She looked around, hoping for a berry bush of some kind. "Hmm, you'd think this forest would have some growing, wouldn't you?" Spotting something, she went over to one, and exclaimed happily. "Oh! My favorites! I knew I'd find something." She plucked a berry from the bush, and popped it in her mouth. Tasting nothing but the berry, she began eating in earnest; one at a time.

Tiberius watched the young vixen go about her business with an amused smile on her face. These days, he had not seen such carefree ways that simply ignored the painful reality of the world. But this vixen was enjoying herself like she had nothing to worry about. On one hand, thought Tiberius, she could be nothing more than a child, and thus not at all a threat. "OR SHE COULD BE A KILLER IN THE MIST WHO WE MUST ELIMINATED!" whispered Tiberus as his other side took over briefly. He shook his head slowly, and regained his composure as he ignored the outburst. "I should try to move closer, identifyt the possible threat. Though she is a cutie. Wonder if her flashing of her ring was actually for an engagement like she said. If not...." Tiberius grinned briefly, before beginning his standard, silent approach of her.

Kallus didn't notice the ebony hare as she continued eating. She had cleared a quarter of the bush before she stopped, and her eyes grew misty. She looked down at the plant, and the berry held in her hand. "Oh. It seems I've gone berrying, but it seems like I've forgotten the bucket. How will I get these back to the chef? He does make a lovely berry pie." She smiled fondly to herself, and then began peeling off her coat. "I could use this. It's quite a warm day, I don't know why I was wearing it in the first place." That said, she started piling berries on the garment, humming happily to herself. She didn't notice her tail, and it flipped around and scattered the berries. She gasped. "Oh no. What have I done? I've made such a mess. I'll have to clean it up. Rinda wouldn't like his fiance to be a slob, would he?" And so she began collecting the berries, and starting her pile anew.
(Sorry for being persistent. I just REALLY wanted to play this character. Thanks for the assist)

((its ok, i dont mind it at all)) Tiberius slowly reached Kallus' position and took up a roost in a nearby tree. He looked into his backpack as silently as he climbed, looking for a bucket. He found one, but it was about the size of a small gourd. The ebony hare's shoulders rose and fell as he shrugged, positioning and dropping the bucket near Kallus. "Your outfit would be stained with the juices of those berries. I think that bucket there would be much more effective."

The dropping of the bucket dropped Kallus out of her delusion, and she started. She looked around and noticed her coat holding the berries. "What's this?" She shook her head. "I don't want to take any of these with me, so I'll just have to get rid of them." She shook her coat out, sending the berries away, and leaving the coat fruitless. She inspected it for stains, and upon finding none, she looked around. Seeing the bucket, she peered at it quizzically. "My, my. What's this now? Somebeast seemed to have dropped their bowl." She looked around for the owner, and then spotted a black hare in a tree above her. She shook out the coat, before putting it on and addressing the hare. "You there! What are you doing? Come down here and talk to me." She picked up the bucket and held it in front of here. "And you seemed to have dropped something. I'll assume you want it back."

Tiberius stared long and quizzically at this vixen. She had just had an entire mood swing, from a child-like girl who was collecting berries so happily to absolutely forgetting why she had them. Hell, she had even forgotten what he had said. His threat index of her went up a few levels in response.
The black hare then jumped off the tree and descended rapidly, until his feet landed upon the ground. He stood from his position, fur rippling across his muscles, and he stared the vixen with his bi-chromatic eyes. "I dropped it intentionally for you to pick those berries. But since you seem to suddenly not want them," his gaze shifted briefly to the fallen berries, "I guess I will take it back. I am Tiberius Strongarm. And your name, lovely damsel?"

Kallus Flicked her paw out, tossing the bucket back to Tiberius. After that was done, she performed a small curtsy "My name is Kallus. Kallus Shenoue." She tilted her head and looked at the hare. "I'm sorry, but did you say pick the berries? I was only eating them. It was a hot day, and I was getting hungry. As I have no pot nor pan nor foodstuffs to spare, and it was to hot to cook anyway, I stopped at that bush to sate my hunger." She righted her head and smiled. "I am just wandering along, looking for someplace to stay. What about you stranger? What are you doing in these woods on a day like this?"

Tiberius' eyebrow raised at her statement on the berries, but nodded slowly and responded to her query. "I am just a traveller of sorts, making a life wherever my legs take me. I guess, in a way, we are going for the same objective. A place to stay. Would you care to join me on this travel? I don't think a lady like you would do well in a night alone here, though looking at you," Tiberius' gaze moved to her arms and legs, quickly glanced at her main body, and back again to her eyes in an analyzing manner. "You probably know the dangers of the night, and are probably prepared for it." He smiled briefly, mocking his own statement in his mind. Way to have a good line to pick up babes, Tib. thought Tiberius to himself.

Kallus grinned. "Dangers of the night? I hardy think that would be any concern of mine. As you pointed out, I'm well prepared for a confrontation of any sort. But, in regards to your request, I think I'll take you up on it." She rubbed the opal of her ring thoughtfully, before continuing. "Yes, I will. It can get a little lonely, walking by yourself in these woods. A traveling companion will be nicely accepted." She nodded to confirm her decision, and then looked questioningly at the rabbit. "So, which way do you want to go, Mr. Strongarm? We can't quite well travel without a direction, now can we?"

Tiberius shrugged. "I was going to follow the sun's path, since it usually hits coast. Which provides very lovely fish, and possible boat transportation for movement along the coast." He offered his arm to Kallus , being the gentleman he his, and noticed her opal ring. "If i may ask, what is the purpose of that ring on your hand? Is it for decorative purposes?" His mind was debating plan of action for the usual response: If it was for decoration indeed, he would not mind hitting on her at all. If it was for a marriage, well, he'd be very sly about it.

"My ring?" Surprised, Kallus started, and then looked down at it. "This ring is very special to me, Tiberius. I used to be betrothed." Smiling sadly, she ran a claw over the stone. "It was a fox very dear to me, and he was slain in a skirmish a few years ago." She sighed, and then looked up. "I merely keep it to remind me of what could have been, were fate not so cruel to me." She took a single step to the rabbit, and then she tilted her head. "Hello, what's that?" She stared right past her new companion, and to a little clearing a ways in the wood. Nothing was there, but she seemed to see something in a ray of light. She began walking to it, and then stopped. "Oh, it's gone..." Surprised she turned back to her companion. "Sorry. I thought I saw something." Smiling good naturedly, she took his arm. "To the ocean it is. I'm always fond of a nice roasted fish."

Tiberius smiled, both inwardly and outwardly. Empathy brimmed at his heart as he felt for her lost lover, for losing one to a cause you could have done about always hurts the most. It almost made him not want to hit on her like he wanted to. But alas, he being the womanizer he is, he couldn't hold it to himself. "I myself am a great cook when it comes to fish. I know this one recipe where you slow cook the fish in a lovely marinate that makes the filet so tender and succulent. I learned it from an otter who, if im not mistaken, is still about on his boat."

Kallus feigned shock. "An otter! Well, that must be a complement indeed! Nobody knows more about seafood then they, if I'm not mistaken." She began walking down the path, in the direction they were headed. "So then, Tiberius, what else are you good at, aside from stealing recipes from sea dogs?" She teased. She was actually beginning to enjoy herself. Much as she hadn't in a long, long time. She had been on her own for moons; ever since she left the little village. This rabbit, however, was a charming creature to be around. She might just hang around him yet, see where else he would take her.

Tiberius laughed at her remarks. "Well, if you must know, I actually am good at... well..." he strayed off from his sentence, looking blankly at his paw which would have held count on the list. Tiberius had no desire to tell her what he actually could do. What he did wasn't very nice, nor did it really go well when spoken of. The hare quickly attempted to recover from his failed start with, "... cooking!" His face drooped at the poor quality answer. "Alright, I really don't do anything specific."
((Sorry, i dont have more time tonight to do more....sorry for the poor post quality))

"Just cooking huh? Well at least you're useful. I may just keep you around yet." She winked to show that she was joking, that she wasn't really considering ditching him, and then she looked back forward. Soon enough though, her bright eyes glazed over once again, and she hugged the hare's arm and rested her head on his shoulder. She sighed and closed her eyes, obviously content. "I hate that you have to go, Rinda. Can't you stay? If you leave, you might..." Kallus choked up and stopped. Then she stood in front of Tiberius and gripped his arms tightly, tears dashing from her eyes. " Don't go! I beg you! Our marriage is set in a few months, but we can't get married if you die there! Please..." She trailed off, and turned her head aside. She let go of the hare's arms, and hugged herself. "No, never mind. If you go, you have to. Nothing I say can keep you here with me." She hung her head, and then blinked. "What the? Oh sorry." She brought her head up and looked at her companion. "I must've dozed off a little there. I seem to be more tired then I thought." (Don't worry. S'long as I got somethin' to reply to, I don't nitpick it's quality.)
