Tiberius' gaze did not leave Kallus's face as he stared hard, trying to scrounge out any reason behind her "outburst". What she was talking about was not a mystery to him: Her husband to be, Rinda, was going off to conflicts away from home. She didn't want him to go, but he thought otherwise. Even though he was to be married to Kallus. Tiberius himself could not fathom leaving behind his loved one for a fight. He quickly accelerated and cut Kallus off from walking any further forward. "You have no idea what you just said, do you?" Concern reverberated throughout his words, almost extending a sort of kindness that only love could bring.

Kallus started as Tiberius cut her off. "Wha-?" She looked confused. "What I...just...said?" The vixen backed up a few paces and looked questioningly at the hare. "I just I must've dozed off..." Worried now, the midnight fox peered at Tiberious. "What's wrong? What aren't you telling me?" The way the hare was acting, it seemed that he'd gone crazy. The way his voice was, it wasn't quite the voice of a beast who lost touch of their senses. He was concerned for her, which wasn't an emotion that came to the insane lightly. "What did I say?" was she having black outs? Something where she acted awake while unconscious? The way Tiberious was acting, it seemed so.

Tiberius nodded slowly, starting to grasp what was occurring. "You were almost in a stupor, Kallus. You spoke to me as if you had no idea I was me, but that I was your husband-to be. You had said..." Tiberius recited what she had said word for word. He paused to let what she had said sink in. " I think you were like this when I first met you, when i dropped the bucket in front of you. One moment you were picking berries, and the next moment you tossed them like they had a disease."

"I-I did?" Kallus looked down thoughtfully. There were times in her life where she remembered nothing, but found herself in a different situation than before. She just chalked them down as sleep walking episodes; but what if her trauma led her to these? It was entirely possible. In fact, come to think of it, it was a valid explanation. "It explains some things, certainly. But, you say I reverted to my past, and saw you as my betrothed?" She looked back up at her companion. "I apologize for this. I had no idea that it was going on."

Tiberius nodded slowly. "You have no reason to apologize. I did not think for one moment that you were actually under control of your actions." He removed himself from her way, mumbling slightly, and gestured forwards.. "Shall we continue, then? If we move now we should reach the coast by dark. And a fire does take time to set up, as does fishing." The hare's stomach began to make itself known, and Tiberius winced slightly at the pain from an empty stomach. A paw reached back to his pack and pulled out a small sandwich, which he then offered to his vixen companion.

"Yes, but..." Her head still reeling from the revelation, she held up a paw to her head. The fact that she often reverted to the way she was before her fiance's death was shocking and unexpected. If she did that normally, then how did other creatures view her? Like she was insane? Probably. Deciding to muse upon it later, she came back once Tiberius spoke his intentions. She nodded. "You're probably right. We might as well continue on to the coast anyway. What happened shouldn't affect that too much." She laughed lightly from the hare's stomach. "Seems to me that your belly agrees with you, Mr. Strongarm." When he offered the sandwich, she turned it down. "You need it more then me, at the moment. I just ate." Although, it seemed ages ago when she was eating berries by the side of the path.

Tiberius nodded, and took a bite from the sandwich. Only the small sound of chewing broke Tiberius' silent movement to the coastline. There was nothing for him to say that was not already said.
Tiberius stopped suddenly, head drooping till he was looking at his feet. His eyes closed briefly, a small, sadistic smile growing on his lips. Muffled laughter escaped his closed lips, slowly twisting into a sardonic laugh that belied Tiberius' earlier attitude.

While next to her companion, Kallus was lost in though. The revelation still blew her mind. Who knew that she went crazy, at random times? Could she prevent it? Or hell gates, could she even know when it was coming next? Not likely. Could this be a one time...no. She remembered. Though she was in a fugue, she knew. Every time she blacked out while wide-awake, she probably reverted to herself before, or could even just go insane. She had no idea, and most of the time witnesses weren't available.. Still reeling, the vixen turned to Tiberius, opening her mouth to ask a question, before she saw the emotion his face had taken on. His shoulders shook with laughter, and he started laughing out loud. Seeing that evil smile before, she was hesitant to approach him further. Instead, she put a paw to her whip, and backed up a few pawsteps.
