Appearance:
Age: 41 years
Species: Sea Otter
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Good
Appearance:
Heso is a scruffy sea otter, the very image of a wave-riding rogue, from his wide-buckled sharkskin belt and canvas trousers to a tattered brown vest, and lastly an eyepatch over his right eye. Numerous scars linger under his fur, as well as a number of tattoos, the most prominent being on his left shoulder, a lone wave hurling onwards, cresting and ready to strike anything in its path. His fur beginning to grey around his whiskers, Heso can still inspire second thoughts into would-be attackers with a snarl of fearsome teeth, or a bark of a laugh he is known to have.Belongings:
Heso usually carries with him a haversack full of woodworking tools and rations, not to mention a cutlass taken from a searat thrust into his belt. Heso is also fond of a small coastal craft he built, the Stormrunner, which he claims can outrun any approaching squall or tempest on the high seas.Job or Position:
Heso's prior occupation was mainly tied to Salamandastron, informing the Badger lords and hares there of pirates and other unsavoury folk by sea, helping to dispatch a number himself. But as he drifted inland along the River Moss to repair the Stormrunner's mast, he was taken captive by Ragnar the wildcat and his horde. Now he is a slave, albeit a very uncooperative one.Personality:
Heso appears to be a well-spoken sea otter with a loud voice, eager to let beasts know what his interpretation of the world is. Since he is outspoken, the otter also seems very argumentative, but even so he keeps a sense of loyalty to his friends as his utmost principle, if not the only one he has. But if anyone saw fit to harm him or his friends, then it's all paws on deck. The otter has no qualms about matching an eye for an eye. No pun intended, of course.History and Background Information:
As far as the otter knows, he was born on the high seas, his father dying a season before in a pitched battle with coastal raiders on Green Isle, the place where he and his mother traveled from to the western shore, along with a number of other otters to seek a settlement somewhere along the coastline. Heso, however, was not exactly content with settling down on a piece of land as he was growing up. The otter helped construct a small fishing boat, which he later used to escape on the sea, a bold adventure he had undertaken. He had returned back to the settlement several times, though each time the otter was distinctly older, more mature with each visit, the time spent in between sailing up and down the coast, building his coastal craft a short while later, adopting a free lifestyle sailing across the vast ocean. It was only recently that he had ever set paw inland, but a misfortunate encounter left him a slave in the employ of the wildcat, Ragnar.Any other details:
