Captain Frosti stood on the above deck of his corsair ship the Iceblade staring across the endless depths of the sea. The corsair ferret turned to his steersbeast, "Set a course for Mossflower country. I have a feeling we'll find more plunder there."
OOC: Sorry about the shortness, Cole.

A Giant Second-Rate Man Of War. A Warship! Unlike most Corsairs. Who's ships were mostly built for speed and to take control of other ships. The Man Of War was built for war and ship-to-ship battle! Was sailing through the blue seas. Known now by almost every Corsair who has heard of it as the "Death Ship." Many Corsair ships had tried to take the ship, Destroy it's crew and captain, and take the treasure inside it. But all of them met a fiery end! Only a giant Sea Beast follows it! After the ship's insane captain. Herrick The Madbeast! Herrick, In fear of the beast. Is moving toward Mossflower to restock on supplies and ammo for the many Giant Crossbows that line the sides of the Warship. But also most of all. Trying to avoid the monster...

Frosti's keen eyes spotted a very large Man Of War sailing parallel with the Iceblade. The corsair ferret strode over the helm, "Sail us to that Man Of War." The stoat nodded, "Aye, sir." The mid-sized ship sailed toward the warship silently as the crew armed themselves and began to file on to the deck.

One of the Death Ship's crew. A searat. Saw the Iceblade and yelled to another creature, a stoat. To some see it. "Wha' do ya thin' that is?" The stoat replied "Look like some typo' Barque?" The searat replied "Cert'inly looks like no Galleon... Get the cap'n on deck quick."
The stoat knocked on the cabin door. "Cap'n Cap'n!!" the door suddenly swung open and knocked the stoat down. Herrick The Madbeast walked with a sabre, a scimitar and a curved dagger on him. Sabre and scimitar in each paw. The tall stoat kicked the other stoat once. "What is it!? Is it that damned monster!? Tell me! Before i make you fish bait!" The evil stoats bloodshot eyes locked onto the lesser one. Causing him to shake with fright as he replied. "Ther- There's a ship.." The stoat didn't finish as another kick struck him. "On your feet you fool! Get everyone ready for a fight! I want my enemy's burnt and cooked nicely! May make the sea monster stop to have a bite while we make our escape toward land!"
The lesser stoat did as told. In minutes to whole crew was out. eighty of them! Searats and corsairs! The ship seem to come alight with torches and shining blades as they loaded bolts into the ballistas that line the ship's sides and whatever corsair and searat archers that were on board have their bows drawn. Ready for their arrow or bolt tips to be lightened. If there was going to be a fight. They were ready now.

Frosti realized he was sailing into a death trap; that man of war could easily crush his corsair vessel. He decided discretion was the better part of valor. The ferret walked over to his first mate, a weasel, and gave him orders, "Raise a white flag and continue on our present course." The weasel nodded and carried out his orders; a white flag was lifted on the Iceblade's topmast.

Herrick was disappointed. He had hoped the ship would engage in combat so he could sink it, to hear those pained and terrified screams of suffering and agony, The look on their faces before the fire burned them off, the sight of the dying ship’s crew trying to swim their burned bodies to shore with the saltwater causing them pain for each second they were in the water and lets not forget the fishes taking bites out of them! Even if that white flag was raised, Herrick would have attacked and destroyed that ship. But it was out of his range and trying to chase a small, fast pirate ship with a big, slow ship would be wasteful of time and thought. He had his ship sail for a river to go up into so he could drop anchor and explore for resources and maybe vermin to recruit.

Frosti smiled coldly, the ship didn't attack; maybe the captain wasn't as smart as he had thought. The ferret corsair walked over the the first mate, "Prepare a longboat for me and a half score of my best men." The weasel obeyed, "Aye, sir." Frosti was ready if a battle broke out, his ship was death, nothing ever escaped the ruthless corsair even a warship, he smiled wickedly.

Herrick was keeping a eye on that other ship as his attemped to sail up into the River Moss. If that ship followed behind them, he would have to imploy fire arrows and spears. Mainly because the Ballistas line the sides of his ship. Not the front or back. This is the only time he ever got real worried. Then enemy can easily attack this ship now. So now almost all his crew lined the back of the ship. Bows out and lit.

Frosti watched as archers lined up on the stern of the warship, maybe he wouldn't take a longboat over to it. The Iceblade kept of its course still sailing toward the river. Frosti ordered archers of his own onto the bow of his ship, armed with fire arrows. Hopefully it wouldn't come down to a fight, his ship was clearly out matched at the moment. But things aren't always the way they appear.
