Skyra watched Raven creeping toward the scent a smiled grimly. Let whoever was watching them see somebeast in the open and charge. Let them not see the Jetclan warrior coming. She slipped her dagger out and held it ready to sling at the other fox should he attempt to attack Raven.

The white fox noticed the Ferret. Comming out in the open. He spoke out. "Well hello there. Why put out your fire? I mean you no harm." But the fox did not move out into the open to the ferret. He stayed near the trees. Vermin often don't live alone. They often are in groups. So he kne wbetter than to come out in the open so quickly and willingly.

Skyra heard the white fox's greeting but reasoned that it was better for her to stay hidden for now. Sheathing her dagger, she picked her way stealthily up the hornbeam until she found a sheltered vantage point to watch the two beasts from. The newcomer seemed friendly, but Skyra knew that evil foxes were a grim reality. She stifled a growl at the thought of all the verminous foxes she'd seen.

Raven Snuck up riht behind the new fox and readied his dagger, holding the blade in his paw, to strike the fox in the back of the neck and knock himout cold should he show signs of being a threat. He growled softly and climbed into a nearby tree to watch him with wary eyes.

The fox had heard the growl and jumped backwards. Noticing he didn't crash into anything. He looked up the nearby tree he was at. Now he knew where the creature was. He pulled out a Large Bearded Axe and A Cutlass. "Trying to kill a creature who gave a kind hello? Such bad manners. Some down there you savage!" Though he had his attention to the trees. He kept his ears open to any sounds made on the ground.

(((A large BREADED AXE?))
The white fox had brandished weapons. Skyra wasted no time in sneaking to the end of a sturdy branch, just above and slightly behind the fox. Leaping off, she caught the branch in the backswing to reduce the noise she made and dropped to the ground behind him. The vixen readied her sabre and dagger but did not strike as inflicting back wounds to an unaware opponent was a disgusting flaw in a beast's honor.

"Don't move Vixen." It was not the fox who had said it. It was one of two large bowcats that followed him. Both had their arrows notched. The White fox turned and smiled. "How come you two always follow me?" The same cat replied with a smile "Because we bowcats are supposed to be scouting. Not you High King." The fox nodded and took a few steps away from the vixen. "So an assassin? I must admit you were more silent than your other friend. I would need beasts like you...."

Skyra was outraged."Assassin?! Obviously yore experience with true warriors is limited! I could've slain you long before yore cronies had time to back you up, scum!!" To drive her vehement message home she spat at the fox's feet and glared fearlessly into his eyes. "Stand away from the ferret and put away yore weapons; maybe then I'll speak with you."

The white fox did something surprising. He smiled at the vixen. "You act like assassins are a very bad thing. A warrior? An Assassin? I was both. Not much difference. You always kill your enemy in the end. The main difference is Warriors are more frontal attackers and often more skilled with the melee weapons they wield. Assassins are often experts at ranged weapons and often think and plan before they sneak in to kill their targets. They not only have to think of a way to get close enough unnoticed to get within range to make the killing shot. But they also have to plan how to escape afterwards. Don't think of assassins as cowards. They are often in more danger than any warrior." The fox had sheathed his cutlass. But kept his axe in paw.

Raven hissed angrily and leapt in front of Skya protectively. I don't care what ye do to me, but if you hurt or insult my friend than you pay for it with your life. He pawed the handles of his daggers to prove his point and bared his fangs in a silent snarl.

Skyra kept up a strong face and eyed the fox's axe."Hmmm...I respect yore logic, but don't agree with it. That's just as well." She peered over at Raven for an instant to assure herself that the white fox had done nothing to him, then glanced back over her shoulder. "Could you kindly tell yore archers to lower their weapons?"

(((Oops. Stitch together time)))
Then Skyra put a hand on Raven's shoulder and steered him away from her. "Insults are petty, Raven. Don't worry for me." She looked from ferret to fox to ferret again before taking another look at the bowcats. "Did you hear me, stranger?"

Hans ignored the ferret. As if he was worth nothing. But he did listen to the fox. "Lower them. I don't think the fox will attempt anything. Though keep your eyes on that ferret..." The cats lowered their bows to the ground. "So vixen. What is you name?"

Raven's ears lowered annoyedly and he growled softly. He walked over to a nearby tree and crawled into he lowest branches where he sat watching the small group of newcomers with a very wary eye. He didn't trust any of them.

Skyra frowned slightly at the fox's indifferent dismissal of Raven, but told herself that the fox's action was better off ignored. "My name is Skyra Jet. Would you be so considerate as to tell me yores?",she said, sheathing her weapons.
