Virek shook his head in mock despair, "Such savages live in Mossflower. Why don't you calm down and settle this like civilized beasts?" He sheathed his short sword and stood there, again waiting to see if this beast would listen to any reason, if he didn't then the young ferret was ready to fight back. Virek looked over at Rabisat, she seemed to be handling this situation differently than he was.

Rabisat knew better than to try to talk out of a fight with this otter. It would only delay the inevitable battle that would come. This otter hated vermin and would not listen to anything from them. This Otter, no matter what. Wanted to kill her. Simple as that. But she was NOT going to let him kill her!
She folded her left arm behind her back in a Classic One Pawed Sword Fighting Stance, often used by those who are skilled enough with a blade to require only one paw to fight. But really she was just readying up a sneaky surprise attack. She had a few throwing daggers at the back of her belt that had been hidden behind her pine green cloak. So no one, not even Virek. Had any clue she truly had more than she had willingly showed at the sides and front of her belt.

Rizhacka grinned. "One of you, at least, will own up to your crimes." The savage river dog held his right side foremost, with the spear held like a jouster's lance. The other was hel behind his back, close to a head. It emerged over his left shoulder. It was his stance for the style of combat he taught himself, in order to become proficient with twin double-headed spears. No warning was given. With a push, the otter literally launched himself off the ground and at Ribisat. He landed right in front of her and thrust savagely with the foremost spear, while at the same time twirling the other and bringing it in a sything circle.

Rabisat was ready for the otter, she had kept her own eyes looked on him since their first encounter and was ready when he did his sudden leap at her. She lowered herself in preparation for the clash that was sure to met when he landed, but when he threatened her with a scything swing with one spear and a thrust from the other. She made a swift leap backwards to avoid the scything spear and struck the thrusting spear aside or at lest off aim with her sword. That was when she made her counter attack, which came in the form of a few daggers she suddenly throws at him at close range from her left paw.
(A bit of an unfair post maybe?)

(a bit, but I can handle it.) Rizhacka, whith split second timing, grabbed a loop from his pouch and lariated the daggers and threw it to the side. With an extension of the same movement, he came in to Ribisat in a twirling whirlwind of spear heads. Both spears were twirled vertically, and the savage otter warrior spun in a fast horizontal circle. It was a complicated offense, and one with very few defenses to counteract. The warrior was playing on this in his attempt to kill off this vermin.
