Lord Greysburrow was happy to be out of the rain; it had started to come down forcebly, and it had started to seep through his cape and into his clothes. Upon entering the Abbey itself, the otter paused, forgetting his coldness for a moment as he admired the building's interior. It was far grander than he could have ever percieved. He glanced around at his surroundings, his soggy garments dripping puddles on the stone floor, as Lois led both he and the other badger to the place refered to as Cavern HOle, apparently a dining area of sorts, where the otter could hopefully enjoy a decent meal and dry off somewhat, before moving on to further... business.

"The line forms right here," Lois let the two visitors go ahead of her. "Don't be shy. Fill up your plate. There's plenty and don't see any hares about." She patted her brother on the back remembering the appetite he had growing up. She was sure it hadn't lessened any with time and he was now taller than she was. In fact he was getting quite a few curious looks from the beasts around the room. "Then you can just sit down wherever there's a place to eat."

Osiah smiled fondly at his sister as he took his place in the line. Thanks, Sissy. I'm gunna sit with you. We have a lot of catching up to do. It's been a long time since we last talked. After he put his food on his plate, he stood off to the side and waited for Lois to finish filling hers so he cold sit with her.

"Mama Lo, Mama Lo, cum sit over here with us!" The little hogmaid, Damson called out to her from near the large fire place. "Aye, Ma Lo, sit wiv us'uns," the little molebabe, Diggory, echoed her.
"Ah, the very dibbuns I wanted you to meet," Lois smiled at her brother. "And they've got the best seats in the place, right by the fire." She led him over to the spot.

Osiah smiled fondly at the Dibbuns and willingly followed his sister over to them. A tiny little otter, smaller than the other two Dibbuns, looked up and squeaked happily at the two approaching badgers. Hiya hi, Mommy Lo. Whos bes thises?

"Hello, little ones. Did you save me a seat? This is my little brother Osiah. He's come to visit us. Isn't that wonderful?" Lois spoke gently to the tiny creatures. "Mama Lo," Damson laughed, "yur liddle brother is bigger 'en you."

Osiah laughed and ruffled Damson's ears fondly. What's yer name, liddle one? Juan watched curiously and walked over to Lois. She was his favorite person in the entire Abbey because she was the nicest to him.

Damson prickled with delight at the attention from the big badger. ((careful for those spines she is a hedgehog)) She grinned at him. "My name's Damson and he's my liddle brother, Diggory." She put a paw on the molebabe's shoulder. He was too much in awe of the huge creature to speak.
"I found them together near a burned out dwelling before I got to the abbey. They're parents had been murdered so I adopted them." She whispered to Osiah. Then she noticed Juan sidling up beside her and put a paw around him. "Would you like me to introduce you, too?" she asked the little otter.

Osiah smiled fondly at the hogbabe and molebabe. He had always been very fond of Dibbuns and loved spending time with them. Juan looked up at her and nodded shyly. Pleases?

"And this, brother, is my little otter friend, Juan. He and I met here at the abbey. Sometimes he likes to play at being a squirrel. Don't you, Juan?" She winked at the otter dibbun and gave him a gentle squeeze. Then she noticed Diggory trying to swipe a pasty off her plate. "Digger, you little villain, you have your own food." She tweaked his snout. "Oi gotta eat lossa vittles so Oi cun grow up big loike, Maister 'Siah." The molebabe smiled winningly.

Lord Greysburrow had finished having his bowl filled, and now had the opportunity to survey this dining room. So many creatures! It was impossible to spot any one with an air of authority about them; but as this was a close contact establishment between all residents, those with importance could be mostly anybody. At a loss as to what his next move should be, the otter opted to continue relations with the two badgers. Certainly, having the support of the Badgermum couldn't be a bad thing. Shuffling his way through the diners towards the fire, Greysburrow gave a small bow to his hostess. "My compliments on a well kept dining room and cooking staff, Madam. Surely a mass of patriots at the tables promises good eating. Would you and your brother mind if I sat with you?"

"That's right, Juan." Lois was saying when the adult otter came over to join them. She turned to look at him and smiled. She was now too happy in her home with her family and good food to worry about any misgivings she may have had about the visitor when she met him outside. "Thank you, Lord Greysburrow. You would be more than welcome to join us." Lois pulled the dibbuns up on her lap to make room for the newcomer to sit with them.

Juan curled up into a fuzzy little ball in the Badermum's lap contently and started dozing off in the comfort and warmth that surrounded him. Osiah noticed and smiled fondly. He really likes you, Sis.

Greysburrow smiled warmly. "You're too kind," he complimented as he dragged a near by stool closer to the group. Laying his soggy cape near the fire to aid it in drying, the otter sat upon the stool and tasted his soup, nodding in approval. "Magnificent! Truly, your chef can work wonders in the kitchen." He continued to sip his soup contentedly, commenting upon the dibbuns. "And these, I trust, are your young wards. A fine group they are. You must be very proud."
