I had a question. I'm kind of new at RPing and was wondering if anybody could help me on some of the abbreviations going around, like OOC. Thanks in advance.

Okay, I'll lend you a paw. ^_^
Basically, OOC mean "Out of Character". This is used when you are talking about something, but it's not actually a part of the roleplay. For example, if you need to put notes about what's happening in your post, or need to ask a question.
When you're typing as a part of the roleplay, ie. you're playing out your characters, you put IC, or In Character. You don't always need this though - I just usually put ((brackets)) around my OOC stuff in a roleplay post. Others that are used could be [ this ] or {this}. ^^
You DON'T need OOC brackets and so on when you're not actually roleplaying, though. xD
Any others you want to know (sorry about my pathetic attempt at describing these)?

Thanks. Most others I know, but that one was very confusing.

Another little thing that goes along with OCC is IC, which means In Character. Some people put this when they are done with OCC in a RP thread but its not required. It kinda just serves as OCC's counter part.
