Appearance:
Age: 44
Species: Greatrat
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Neutral
Appearance:
He is a Large Greatrat. Greatrats were twice the size of normal rats but he was slightly larger than the normal Greatrat! He had black fur. Some of his teeth were jagged. He had all kinds of scars on his body and alot of them were noticeable as pink scars. He had a large muzzle. With big jaw muscles for large amounts of biting power. His paws had tough claws that were a little longer than other rats and often cause other beasts pain when he grabbed them. He was known to have a smart and cunning mind and a very hard skull. Often using them both in battle. His tail was thick and long. Near enough to rival that of Cluny or Salvador. He was a muscular and powerful beast. known to be able to take long leaps that clear a good distance.Belongings:
He wears steel Breastplate armor with Faulds worn below to protect hips and waist. A shirt of chainmail (Hauberk) is worn under the armor. Though the "Sleeves" are short and do not cover the elbow or lower arms. They do protect the shoulders and armpits. He wears a Dark Slate Green Cape and wears a helmet with steel mesh hanging down from it to protect his neck. He wears a belt and Scabbard made of the skin of a European Adder. He also has a backpack full of supplies and strangely enough. Badges he earned when he himself was a soldier under the command of a Pure Ferret king and queen. He never carries this backpack though and has a second in command rat did that for him.Job or Position:
For weapons he wielded what seemed to be a cross between a katana sword and a arming sword (A sword used by knights and crusaders.) It's very long and broad blade was slightly curved and it had a cross hilt with a straight one-pawed handle. The weapon was surprisingly light weight and razor sharp and had a strong blade. Although not every beast could swing or wield the blade. Species as big or strong as otters and foxes could. He was also armed with a large Bagh nakh. Made large enough for a Greatrat his size to wield with large, Serrated claws used to tip large, gaping, open wounds that were hard to heal and cause large amounts of bleeding. He often used both this and his sword in the heat of battle.
If it came that he was discarded of both weapons. He himself was a weapon! His large muzzle full of strong and jagged teeth could rip flesh and break bone with a powerful bite powered by large jaw muscles. He also had tough, long claws that he used to slash and cut his opponents. He has one hell of a hook and uppercut too. His tail was long and thick. Strong and movable enough to be used as a tough ship. But he also had weight to his advantage. With his armor and chainmail on. He more than likely weighed alot more than his opponents. Which could be used to his advantage to crush his enemies under him.
Commander and Warlord of a army.Personality:
He is a tough and rugged creature. So He is bound to have a tough rugged voice and personality. He often takes everything seriously and sometimes goes too far about it. He is not a creature to just "let things go" and often at lest complains about it for a good while. He is a creature that gives orders and expects them to be followed. He is short tempered and often does not take another beast's crude for long without giving cruel vocal abuse and threats of his own or slugging them with his fist. He believes in discipline and often uses it on his troops. Always claiming that it "Builds character and is what makes a beast a soldier or warrior." To friends. He may not look it or sound like it. But he cares for the well being for his troops and allies and lets not forget friends. Even coming to their aid when he thinks they are against a battle that they can't win alone. He is trustworthy and known to even help in the carrying of wounded troops to the medics he has in his army. Who are often away from the battlefield and in tents.History and Background Information:
When he was young. He had always had a interest in leading troops and fighting. But the home where he come from. He was not allowed to join the military till he was well over thirty. So after a sad good bye to his parents and siblings. He left home as a traveler and wonderer. Armed with some supplies, a walking stick, a knife and a cloak. When he had wondered into a Kingdom ruled by a Pure Ferret King and Queen. He immediately joined their army. In his 15 or so years in the military. He became a well known soldier and a amazing swordsbeast. He quickly started to go up the ranks. He was well liked by those under his command or above him and because of his battle strategies and their respect and trust in him. They often had high moral and a powerful will to win the battle he was sent to.Any other details:
But soon there were no more enemies willing to stand against the Pure Ferret's powerful commander and therefore. A military was no longer needed. He was forced to face a "Early Retirement." So the Greatrat decided to take a long trip away from the kingdom and enjoyed his trips to the places he stayed at and even started to recruit beasts so when he came back to the Pure Ferrets. He would have a army to add to theirs. But when he came back with five hundred beasts. He saw the kingdom in ruins and soon after heard the the King and Queen were killed by a large horde of beasts.
In a rage. He tracked them down and started war with them. It was long, bloody, violent, and the cost of lives were horrible. The Greatrat had found out after the battle that the horde had outnumbered him with about seven hundred beasts. But with cunning strategy and a vengeful battle rage. He and his army managed to send them defeated and running. He had lost two hundred. But his enemy had lost over six hundred and eighty. Sending it's leader and twenty others fleeing.
When he came back and buried those they horde had killed. He had suddenly noticed that that three Pure Ferrets had to have been still alive. The King and Queen had about five children. They and two of their children were killed. Because the other three children's bodies were not here. It must mean they were still alive! He immediately left all but a hundred of his forces to guard what was left of the torn kingdom and set off for were he thought they might be. The peaceful woods of Mossflower. To find the remainder of the Pure Ferret Family........... And to kill the horde leader who managed to escape his wrath......
