Walon noticed Moll on the ground and extended his paw towards hers. "I'm sorry, your Majesty. I didnt mean to get into another argument with him. Its just so easy to do. I mean, when somebody is as wrong as he is all the time, its hard not to try to correct him constantly." he said, reaching for her paw.

((Walon beat him to it. lolz))
Drask rolled his eyes in response to Walon; in his mind the corsair was scum that was trying to get on Moll's good side, the general would have offered his paw to her if it wasn't for that annoying Walon Vau. Drask nodded to Moll, "If you would like, I can show you my way of dueling." It didn't matter to him whether he taught Moll anything right now, it would be better if Walon wasn't around so there was no interruptions.

Moll looked at both of the proffered paws and then rolled her eyes and painfully got up on her own. Her tail, she thought, had come through it all right but the fall to the hard wooden deck had done a number on her rump. She resisted the urge to rub the spot thinking it was probably a very unqueenly thing to do. "No, not right now. I think I've had enough exercise for today. Maybe this evenin' after supper, Drask. I think I'm gonna go rest in my cabin for a bit." She attempted to turn from them and walk back down the hall regally but she was sure they would probably see her slight limp even if they couldn't see her wince with every step.

Walon grinned and said quietly. "She'll do alright. Her Highness has great skill with a blade. I wonder how much of it is natural. From all accounts, her father was a great swordsbeast." So saying, Walon headed back to the weapons room and put the sword back where he had got it from.

Drask's eyes followed Moll as she left the hallway, and then he watched Walon leave as well. The general sighed and stood up straighter, debating whether to escort Moll to her cabin, but he decided against it. What else was there to do on this ship? Drask didn't want to spend his time with Walon, maybe he would go help out the crew. He also decided against it. Then he remembered that Jayne and two others were working in the galley, maybe he could help out there, Drask knew he needed to work on his humility. Drask turned back and opened the old door leading into the galley, glancing at Lumpy and Jayne before addressing the older ferret, "I can help out in the galley, if you need it." Lumpy raised his eyes, he was rather surprised that the regal looking ferret even bothered doing any work. But he wouldn't reject help from Drask, "Get t' work scrubbin' them dishes." Drask nodded in response and got to work beside Jayne. He didn't raise his eyes to her at all, he concentrated on washing the dishes.

Moll waited till she was out of the eye line of the two ferrets before she rubbed her sore backside. When she reached her cabin she collapsed onto her bed on her stomach. It wasn't the most comfortable bed. That title had to be left for the one that she had only spent one night in at the palace on Sampetra. But at least it was quiet here and she could think about all that was to come. She hadn't been thinking long however when the gentle rolling of the ship rocked her to sleep.
Jayne jumped when the ferret burst into the galley and offered to help with the work. She watched him closely as he received his orders and followed them out. She even continued to stare as he got right to work beside her. She was unsure of his motives and it made her nervous having him so close. He was after all the beast who had woken her up by falling on top of her this morning. After a moment she snapped back to reality and started washing dishes again but she moved as far away from him as possible while still having access to the sink.

Walon had returned to his spot on the bow. He sat on the outer rail quietly, staring at the sea. The Queen was very good with a blade, very good indeed. She had picked up on how to use his style quickly, and with little trouble. Mentally, he saluted her as the first besides himself to master that style.

Drask made careful mental note of Jayne's reaction, but made no attempt at speaking to her, or Lumpy, it wasn't his line of work, and didn't enjoy it much. Then raising his eyes to glance at the ferretmaid working beside him, he made up his mind to try talking to her, "How did you wind up with the rest of us?" Drask resumed working in silence waiting to see if she would continue working without a word, or if she would respond to him.

Jayne jumped again when Drask spoke and she deliberated for a long time whether to answer or not. He probably thought she had chosen not to before she finally decided that it was innocent enough. "Workin' my way off the island." She mumbled.

Drask inclined his head slightly, "Hmmm. Akkladia isn't all it shaped up to be?" He had already knew that she was a slave or servant, he could verify that fact because he saw her wrists that were rubbed raw from chains or ropes. That kind of life must have been extremely hard on Jayne. Drask rarely showed sympathy to any beast, but she deserved it, he remembered her scream early that morning, and the horrified look on her face when she awoke.

Jayne shuddered. "It's a terrible place." She had been chained to an oar when she first arrived there ten years back and immedately dragged to the auction block. She rubbed her wrists. They didn't really hurt now it was only that the fur wouldn't grow back the same way there now and the memories were painful enough. Then knowing that Drask was watching her she quickly picked up another pan and began scrubbing it. This was heaven compared to some of the work she'd been forced to do.

Drask inclined his head slightly, "It seems that it has gotten worse over the years." He used to love staying at Akkladia but this recent visit was disappointing. The city once had a particular, even to the point of being considered almost having moral laws. That time had apparently past. Drask forced thoughts away from Akkladia and focussed on cleaning up these dishes. "I want to apologize for my actions this morning. I drank to much last night, and I am prone to sleep-walking every once and a while as well. But those are just excuses. I'm sorry for falling on top of you."

Jayne's head jerked up. She was not used to apologies and was definitely not expecting one from this ferret. She threw a glance at Lumpy wondering what the cook thought of her. It had been drummed into her for as long as she could remember that she was always the guilty party. She was sure it was much more her place to apologize for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. She wasn't even sure what the proper response was when someone was making an apology. She looked back down at the water that had nearly lost all of it's suds and mumbled something unintelligible. She hoped that sufficed as an answer and then she sought an escape. She looked to Lumpy, "I think I'm about done here. Is there anything else you need me to do, Sir?" ((would this be an okay time for her to bring a meal up to the captain?))

((Yeah, Cara, Jayne can bring up Draygo's meal.))
"It's annoying to wake up with a ferret on top of you, right?" Drask shut up after that remark, choosing to work in silence unless Jayne replied to him, which he thought was unlikely. Lumpy nodded, "Aye, go 'head." With that the older ferret grabbed a wooden bowl, and he filled it up with some boiling stew from a cooking pot. Lumpy held the bowl out to Jayne, while giving Drask a good long look, just what did this other ferret mean by his visit to the galley?
