Drask smiled darkly, "By the end of the day every one of those savage scum will be dead. My soldiers are the finest for hundreds of miles, even a massive battle trained army would by unable to beat them." Drask had full confidence in his forces, they had dealt with situations just like this one and survived, not only survived but also wiped out the enemy.

Callista Smiled back at the ferret. He was stupid. But he had such confidence in his soldiers and that alone can be respected. “Maybe your right. Maybe your wrong. Don’t think you or your men are immortal. Any army can be beaten by something.” Callista suddenly saw forest becoming thinner and giving way to only tall grass. Not the best thing to stumble into. But it was a hell of a lot better than being in deep forest! All the sudden. She felt something hit her in the back of the head very hard. Causing her to hit the ground, her vision becoming blurry and her hearing becoming dim. But she could the dying screams of soldiers and guards. Someone had jumped them. But who? Are the soldier and guards and Drask dead? She feel into unconsciousness…
What had jumped her and Drask’s forces? Cats, ferrets and weasels! With black and dark green shirts and wearing conical straw hats. They also had a large array of weapons. But Daos and Spears were most plentiful. They had also got the jump on Drask.
(You can say he got knocked out when they jumped him or when he was fighting them. But their numbers are near endless.)

Drask saw Callista go down, but the ferret general wouldn't be felled to easily. He drew his saber with blinding speed, hacking through several savages. Drask lashed out at the waves of them a they swiftly killed off the four guards and then surrounded Drask was knocked out by the savages. He fell to his knees and rolled over onto his side. The last thing he remembered before he blacked out was the savages tying him up...

Callista’s head throbbed as she started to regain conciseness. Though her eyes were still closed. She could hear the sounds of talking, but it was in a strange language that she did not know. There were the sounds of screams of agony and pain too. But the constant sounds of walking drilled in her head the most. Hundreds upon hundreds of paw steps. The Princess finally opened her eyes. The Blurring of her vision slowly fading away. If only the pain in her head would do so too. She looked about at her surroundings. She and Drask were on a wagon being pulled by two strong weasels with two cats and two ferrets walking on the wagon’s sides and rear. There was no way they would escape without them catching them again…
Than she started to notice the scenes that they passed by. Like these straw hat wearing soldiers standing over a row of tan ferrets (The savages.) and start slicing their throats and guting them like fish while they were still alive. Their screams burning into her eardrums. The scene made her sick. Nearby where bodies so badly mutilated that you could not even tell what species they had been before. Let alone their gender…
The thing that had her scared the most was the fact that there must have been thousands of these creatures! They were all over the place. In by themselves or in patrols or groups. Huge numbers. Like a swarm of bees, They where lots of them and the numbers seemed to become more apparent as they were taken deeper and deeper into what might be their base or something…

Slowly regaining conciseness, Drask eyes opened slightly. The ferret's head was throbbing in a storm of fiery pain, after being knocked in the back of the head with who knows what. Drask couldn't see a thing, but his vision cleared after a few seconds of blinding pain. He risked a glance around his surroundings, the gruesome sight chilled the ferret's heart; the savages were literally torn apart by these strange newcomers. Drask saw Callista regain her conciseness, and he wondered if she was hit as badly as he was. Pitiful screaming filled the air, and sent shockwaves of pain through Drask's head.
He attemped to make eye contact with Callista, trying to find out if she was in any condition to escape. But Drask knew the situation was hopeless as he noted seemingly thousands of these strange beasts.

Callista turned to look at Drask. Noticing now he was staring at her. Her eyes showed a bit of fear. Any beast should be scared by now. These Strangers might end up doing the same thing to them. But those pink eyes showed more mix of pain, misery, sadness and even a bit of shame. The Look of pure unluckiness. If you could not see those eyes show those emotions. Than her body look definitely showed it. The silk white robe with gold colored lining all dirty, wet and grass stained, The slight dried blood on the back of her head and the weak almost limb look of her body. She felt as if she had no energy in her. Like it was beaten out of her or had been frightened out.

Drask grimaced as he looked at Callista, she had apparently lost the will to fight. The general however hadn't lost his will to fight, his eyes shone with determination and a mix of anger and hatred, all his men could be dead by now. If they followed orders they would have moved out of the forest to a clearing wear the majority of his forces waited. Maybe they survived, maybe they didn't. Drask tried to take in every detail of the things they past; the more he learned about his enemy the more he could exploit any weakness.

Callista. For some odd reason. Felt she had heard of these strangers before. Did her father mention in one of his war tales that he had fought creatures in the far East Jungles who acted and behaved similar to these beasts? Had he said he was forced to pull out of that war because of them? Yes he had...
Callista spoke quietly and miserably. "I think i know these creatures. My father had told me war tales about them. He fought in the Far East Jungles against them. He said that most of them have little experience in warfare or battle. But their numbers are in the thousands maybe even millions. They are ruled by dictators and often force their own kind into joining their army or violently kill them. They may not be the best fighters. But they use booby traps and attack in huge numbers by ambush.... We are going to die....." She hung her head...

His spirit sank after what Callista told him. But he still had hope that his army would reassemble and use some ambushes of their own. Drask spoke back to her in an urgent and quiet tone, "Listen to me; only beasts who have given up will be slaughtered. But some are like me, who would fight to a bloody end. If we do die I'm gonna go out swinging and takes as many with me as I can. But if we get out of this mess I swear to you that every last one of these scum will be killed." The general's eyes shone with false hope, more than likely he would die, and wouldn't have any chance to save himself before he was gutted like a fish. "Surviving is about the will to fight and live, not to give up, If one gives up then all is lost."

Callista Kicked him as hard as she could. She was flaring up in anger in response to what he said. Sudden energy returned to her body as rage suddenly became her fuel. She tried several other attempts to kick him. "Don't you understand!? Your not in a damned Fable or Fairy Tale, your not in some hero story and you are certainly NOT immortal! Miracles don't happen Drask! They JUST DON'T! We are going to die before we even make one move Drask! GET OVER IT!"
Callista's felt a sudden explosion of pain in her head as a cat whacked her over the head for her outburst and than threw her off the wagon. She hit the ground hard and had her face in the dirt. Sadly for her. She was still conciseness when she hit the ground. She gritted her teeth and rubbed her head into the cold dirt. As if there might be some chance that the coolness will ease the pain in her head. It did not.
Two cats grabbed her arms and started to drag her off while two other cats grabbed ahold of Drask and attempted to drag him off the wagon.

Drask had expected her to disagree with his words, he was right, but she disagreed a little to loudly. As the two cats tried to drag Drask off, but the ferret still had a few tricks up his sleeve. He punched one cat in the gut and slugged the other in the face. His struggle was futile, and several other cats came swiftly to their comrades aide. Drask was slung to the ground, and his paws here tied behind his back. The guards were surprised with Drask's fight, which he continued by kicking a stoat in the chest. More vermin dragged him away before he could cause any more damage.

As Callista and Drask were being dragged. Callista had suspected that they would take them to a building or some hollow tree or camp. No! Instead. They were both stuffed down a hole and forced to crawl down it. It was very dark in this tiny opening. But as Callista crawled deeper and deeper. There was a light. Lantern light! When she made it out of that hole. She was even more dirty than before. But not she was noticing that this place was a underground base! It was basically a bunch of "rooms" made by vermin who had dug a whole lot of dirt out of it and made a system of tunnels to get from room to room. That must have been how they could beat their foes in wars. They had underground places to go too! Bet there were exits too. Used for escape or even more likely..... To ambush....
Of course. Cats and weasels were waiting for them. They grabbed and dragged them through rooms large enough for all of them to fit into till they reached a empty room with only a tied up cat in it. They were thrown in there face first and a single guard was posted there...
The cat looked at the two ferret. Both pure white. But one had blue eyes and the other pink. "Interesting... A very rare find." He thought. He felt pity for the pink eyed one. The blue one looked strong though. Maybe if he gained his trust a little. He could get himself and them out of here. He had to survive to tell Hans about this. This tunnel system and this army that had recently invaded Mossflower! He knew what and who these beasts are. They are the very reason the Hellbeast cats left the Far East Jungles!
The Cat spoke. "Guess they caught you to huh? Whats your names?"

By the time Drask was thrown into the cell, he was bruised up pretty badly after the beasts tried to beat him up for assaulting the two cats. He looked up at the cat, "I'm General Drask Darkfang of Sampetra." Despite being beat up the ferret managed to still keep his pride in tact, as he told the cat who he was. Drask looked over at Callista, who seemed much worse off than himself. He turned his icy blue eyes to the cat, "Do you have any guess as to how many of these beasts are here?"

The Cat replied " I am Sergeant Raker. My team was ambushed and taken out by our enemies and i was taken in for interrogation. Yes. In case you are wondering. I came from the same place they did. I know their language. All the Far East Jungles Beasts can. Most of us fought against them. Way before you pure ferrets ever got involved. Your armies shot at us though." He laughed.
Callista seemed to be losing more and more of her will to keep on going. She was so tired of this stuff happening to her. Whats the point? There is no way out of here. She would just lay here and let the inevitable happen...
The cat ask Drask the question and replied "I'm not sure. Their numbers never seem to die down. But lets not sit here and wait for death. Make yourself fall over and bite my ropes! If we help each other out. We'll all might get out alive!"

Drask normally wouldn't risk his fate in the paws of someone he didn't know. But he would rather get killed by Raker, than be gutted and skinned alive. Without replying Drask fell over against Raker, and started slowly biting through the ropes that bound his paws, while he kept his eyes scanning the room, watching and listening for any sign that one of those beast was coming. 'I might just get out of here alive', Drask thought. Once the ropes had enough biting on Drask stopped, "Pull your paws apart." He whispered.
