Vrelt sighed and let go of her, "Roask was alive before I came here. Before we leave I have to get my things from the infirmary. Don't go anywhere without me, I'll be back." Vrelt ran up to the infirmary, he found his things quickly 'Good thing I was awake when Silas brought me here' he thought.
Vrelt returned to the Kolia just a couple minutes later. Now he looked like a warlord; he had on his light armor, his deep blue cape, all of his weapons, and he had his sack slung over his shoulder. "Let's go Kolia." Vrelt pulled back the bolt and opened the door.

OOC: *Grumbles*
Silas races after the ferret and weasel, catching up to them easily. Moving forth as Kolia bit Vrelt, Silas was at a loss as to what to do. He couldn't threaten a pregnant beast with his blade, especially when he only had a concealed dagger instead of his actual sword. As the weasel calmed down, the squirrel twitched an ear in greeting at Alarrin. It had been a while since he had seen the wolf. It has been awhile since he's seen anyone, in fact. As Vrelt told Kolia to leave, Silas stepped in, asking the weasel, "Miss, are you sure you want to do this?" He wanted her to at least think of the babes inside of her before going out on a perhaps hopeless quest to find Roask. In his opinion, it was better that she stay here, but opinions were opinions... Well, if Kolia at least knew the risks before setting out, it would put Silas at least in some remote state of ease. He didn't like this situation one bit. Not t all.

Kolia looked at the squirrel. He seemed to honestly want to help her. For a moment she thought of staying and then the face of the warrior mouse flashed in her mind and the vision of her sons coming after her. "I have to go," she told him. "I have no choice."

Vrelt stepped forward and shook Silas's paw, "Thank you Silas, for helping me and giving me a place to stay. I hope you do well here at Redwall. Maybe someday we'll meet again." Vrelt left and got his belongings from the infirmary.
He stood beside the gate ready to leave, "Good-bye Silas."
OOC:Sorry Silas, me and Cara got carried away back there.

"See ye, Vrelt." Silas replied as he shook the ferre's paw. The squirrel then nodded curtly at them both, his voice edged with a grave tone. "If ye must, miss, I can't stop ye." He looked into Kolia's eyes, searching for a reason why she felt this way. He, sadly, didn't find anything but concern, a troubled mind, nothing presenting itself to the squirrel warrior. He sighed, and stepped back, moving more or less towards Alarrin and Selesa.

Selesa sighed. Shrugging her black shoulders she stepepd out of the way. "Elthia will tan our hides Brother--but do you want a satchel before you go? Or provisions at least?" Knowing the answer she pushed on the large door, which easily swung open under her strength. Narrowing her eyes she barkd loudly to gain the pair of creatures attention. "Know this! You leave and the gate will not be opened again...ever. Just understand that before you leave!"

Silas sighed as the wolfess gave the ferret and weasel those final words in parting before they stepped out into the vastness of Mossflower, the gates of Redwall, the very ones that welcomed countless travelers, shunned them both as they slammed shut behind them. Silas somehow felt sorry, like he could've done something in that situation. So he muttered under his breath, "The fates help her." as if it could make some difference to the pregnant weasel. After a few moments of silence, he turned and walked towards Alarrin, to catch up on things. It had been awhile since Lenar came and went... about a month... and since then he hasn't seen much of anyone.

The male wolf looked sad as the ferret and weaselmaud disappeared down te path. Yet when he saw Silas walking closer he allowed a gentle smile to spread across his face. Nodding a greeting he walked back up towards the wall steps. His tail curling around his body and to the right to imply that he squirell could follow.
Below Selesa let the gates slam shut. Not feeling any Remorse for the ferretmaid whatsoever she let a smile spread across her face. That was a lot less trouble to deal with, and the abbey would calm down now! Thank Martin!

Silas did follow Alarrin up, putting his arms on top of a battlement, looking out over the flatlands as the two creatures were lost to sight for good. Sighing, he faced Alarrin, and said, "'S been awhile, I guess..."

The wolf nodded slowly. Finally reaching the walltops his sister shrugged. "All of us wolves aren't that bad--If I didn't know better I'd say you missed us Silas." The black wolfess giggled at the smile on her only family's face, she was glad when he was happy. Especially when he was just happy to be here , on the walltops, watching the retreating forms of a pair of villains.
"So how have you been Si?" Selesa inquired, speaking the question on her brothers mind. The tail signs were nice, but he still liked some things voiced aloud.

"T' be honest, not that good." Silas replied. "Guess it's because I feel like I let Lenar get away...." He said, the words ringing in his own ears as a sign of his failure. Since that point, he has had haunting dreams of his past, the village burning to the ground, beasts screaming, dying... The squirrel shook his head and sighed again.

"I don't know how we lost his trail, of course it didn't help that it raiend all night while we were looking for him. Its not you' fault mate>" The last part seemed very out of place with the rest of the statement, it had taken Selesa that long to realize that she wasn't helping matters. Well to tell te truth she hadn't realized it at all, her brother had mouthed the words 'no helping' to her when she turned to look towards the nearby sun.

Silas decided not to comment furthur upon the matter, instead asking brother and sister after a long pause. "So, uh, how are ye two? Haven't heard from ye in awhile..."

Meanwhile, in the Infirmary...
Vortex, feeling much better, stood up and walked over to get his weapons, leaning against the wall for support as he went. He was better than before, but not totally healed. After laying his weapons beside his bed, he took another piece of fish and quickly gulped it down, along with some mint tea. He rested for a few minutes, then went through a mental list. Clothes? Yes - fur cloak, leather tunic, kilt, and belt, all black wolfskin. Good. Weapons? Yes -dark hardwood bow, string made of hairs from his tail, a dagger crafted from solid steel with one edge serrated and the other straight, wire wrapped around the handle for grip, thirty oak arrows with steel points in a quiver of black wolfskin. Good. Hunger & thirst? Just ate and drank. Good. Wounds? Stab wound in side... very deep. Not so good. Location? In an Abbey of currently friendly Redwall creatures that may or may not have heard the legends about him. Uncertain.
