Sev looked down his nose at Silas. "No need to get so shabla angry. I was only trying to help, di'kut." Sev said. He was beginning to feel tired from his lack of rest.
((As long as I don't have to do it for any length of time, I will......Do we have a Friar in the Abbey?))
The mouse looked at the hare, standing there in military fashion, so brave and fearless. The mouse meekly said "Right away, sir." He quickly loaded a trolley with all the leftover salads, scones, turnovers, and drinks from dinner that came to paw.

A drop of water hit Garret on the head, causing him to look up, as he thought about the local of the Wolverine who'd wronged him, and that squirrel he'd met back on Green Isle. I should feel bad thinking like this, but for some reason I don't. I hope this ends soon, one way or another, so I can find Baron, and send him to hellgates. Wonder where that drop of water came from. No clouds, no overhanging branches. Odd. Could be my imagination playing tricks on me though. That has happened a lot recently. Wow, I'm getting tired, hope that food arrives quick enough to keep me awake for the reliefs. And what in the name of Strife do 'shabla' and 'di'kut' mean?

((Thanks, I think I got the gist of that beforepaw, though.))
"Hey, no need to swear now..." Silas held up his paws defensively, "I'm sorry. Just got a little annoyed there." He tries to explain, though he was feeling tired as well. He guessed it was from all that training...
And that fox... He thought bitterly. But his thoughts did not rest upon the snarling vulpine for long. They did turn to Tamar as well. He still hoped that she would be fine after what happened earlier that day when they were attacked...

Phil stood there salivating while the mouse filled the trolley and there was the great temptation to tuck in right then and there but he did have a duty to his mates so he gathered up all his resolve and forced himself to wait. He saluted when the mouse had finished, "Top hole m' good mouse. You'll be remembered in dispatches for this." Then he hurriedly spun the trolley about and whisked it out to the hungry beasts on the wall. "Tucker, chaps!" he whispered loudly toward the wall top not wanting to disturb any actions that may be going on with the beasts on the other side of the wall. He couldn't help grabbing a quick pawful of salad while he waited for the others to join him.

The mouse sighed. 'Its a good thing that there were a lot of leftovers!' he thought to himself. 'Now its time to go back to work'
Sev noticed that Phil had returned with the trolley. He detailed two of the Redwallers to give out the food, because the hares would most likely deal out portions unfairly. Looking about, he said "All right. Watches of one in five. Rotate through the night so that everybody gets a decent amount of rest."

Silas observes that everything seems to be well in order for the night, and nods to Sev, "Alright. Um, if you'll excuse me, I have t' check up on a few things..." He says, not wanting to get out of taking his watch, but making sure that that fox was not able to escape, among other things.
He hopped down the wall onto a tree branch inside the grounds, then went silently through the orchards to the main building. Putting up his bow and arrows, he walked inside the relatively calm hall, the candlelight casting everything in a dim glow.
Then he headed towards the cellars first, gripping a dagger as he went in, but found that the Marlfox was still tied to a stone pillar by a footpaw, his paws behind his back. He was sleeping fitfully, but nevertheless not that much of a threat. The squirrel closed and locked the door behind him as he strode up the stairs to the dormitory section, more particularly the Infirmary.
Opening the door with just the softest of squeaks from the hinges, the squirrel warrior examined the room, finding Tamar easily. He smiled at her in amusement, though he knew they had both accomplished a lot today, training and all that. Plus, a vermin attack. The squirrel warrior paces over to her a little, pondering whether or not to wake her up.

Tamar shifted in her sleep realizing that she was not in her comfortable dormitory bed but instead in a hard infirmary chair. She frowned at the chair and then looked around at her surroundings, stretching and trying to remember how she got here. Looking up, her eyes fell on the warrior squirrel and she smiled. "Hello," she whispered quietly and sleepily.

Sev nodded. He knew what was going on. Silas was probably going to see his pretty friend. Sev could understand that. As long as Silas came back for one of the five watches, he would have no complaints.
Bryan woke in agonizing pain. The arrow wound felt like fire, and it felt like the fire was spreading. 'Oh no!' he thought. 'What if the arrow was poisoned?'

Silas smiled, glad not to have to make the decision of waking Tamar up or not. "Hey, Tamar. just uh, just came to see how you were..." He then looked at a patient that appeared to be awake. He then remembered the mouse who got shot in the shoulder, and frowned. How could he have forgotten? He walked a step or two over to the mouse, who appeared to be in pain. "Uh, Bryan...?" He began, wondering if that was the mouse's name. It took him a little time to recall his name, as there were many beasts within the Abbey.

A large otter accompanied by a smaller otter, who was sitting on his shoulders, and a young red ferret knocked on a small wicker gate off to the side. Anone there? It's me Skip. He stood quietly as he waited to see if anyone would respond.

Sev heard somebody speaking by the wicker gate. Leaning over, he sighted the otter standing next to......Sev's eyes widened. He was standing next to a ferret! Drawing his sword, he advanced on the gate. Silently sliding the bolts, he whipped the door open, sword at the ready.

"Good Grief! Is this how we welcome guests into our Abbey now?!" A young female otter stepped in front of the others. "My name is Elthia, I'm the Abbey healer but I've never seen you before in my life." She looked the hare up and down. "These are my friends and family and you should know a Skipper of otters when you see one." She pushed passed the hare boldly ushering the others into the grounds through the open gate.
Tamar jumped up from her chair and over too the mouses bedside. "What's wrong with him, Si? Sweet Martin, I wish Thia was here."

Sev looked at her frostily. "Well now, I'm supposed to let an ferret, unknown to me, into the Abbey when we're being attacked by vermin? Its better to err on the side of caution in these instances. I did know he was a Skipper, as he said that he was 'Skip'." he said, annoyed.
Bryan just sat there for a minute. Then he said "My shoulder. Its getting worse. I don't know what's wrong with it." ((Just remembered: No poison. Redwaller shot him))
