"Well," Moll smiled, "What are we waiting for?" She turned towards the door and thrust it open excitedly. Then she looked back over her shoulder at Drask. "Where do you think that captain keeps himself?" Looking back at the hallway she noticed the smell of the food and nearly had to keep herself from licking her lips. "Or should we get something to eat first?"
Jayne happily took the open seat and the bowl of stew before her. Glancing from side to side before she began she saw that most of the others had already started to dig in. She took one hesitant spoonful and then another and then found herself bolting it down as hungrily as any of the other crewbeasts. It was warm and filling and she hadn't realized what the work she had done so far had done to her appetite.

"I think we should go eat first, then we can present the new course to the captain. I wonder what he'll think of our plans." Drask was ready to force Englehorn to turn the ship around if the need arose. He followed her to the door, this time the ship would be sailing somewhere Drask wanted to go.
Jimmy glanced over to Jayne, seeing that she enjoyed Lumpy's food just as good as the next beast. He looked over at Choi as well, and the other weasel was eating quickly, clearly enjoying the food that Lumpy made almost every day. Jimmy thought that Jayne now fit in with the crew much better, since she was taking her meal with the rest of them.

((As a random question, where'd you get Vardav?))
Walon was woken from his reverie by his stomach growling at him. "I guess that means it's time to eat." he said to himself as he climbed back over the bow rail and headed for the galley. "I wonder what's for dinner." he said as he made his way toward the Queen's cabin.

Moll looked back and forth down the hall and caught sight of Walon. She suddenly found herself blushing furiously even though she knew she had no reason to be embarrassed by coming out of her cabin with Drask. I mean really, they weren't even the same species but still considering the fact that they had been discussing the complete change of their plans she felt a bit like they had left Walon out. She did respect the ferret captain's opinion and she hoped that this wouldn't damage the report they had built up. Swallowing hard to compose herself, Moll turned to Walon and tried to ignore Drask leaving the room behind her. "Headed up for supper?" She asked.

Walon immediately knew that something was up. The Queen was not good at hiding anything. However, Walon chose to ignore it and replied. "Yes, I thought I'd stop by and see if you were coming as well."

OOC: I randomly came up with it, like the island Akkladia.
The once casual expression on Drask's face was instantly replaced with one of cold resentment, his few minutes of feeling at ease vaporized into thin air. Drask regarded the corsair captain with a nod, then he closed the cabin door behind him. Though Moll seemed concerned with what Walon thought, Drask considered this moment alone with Moll gave him three distinct things; first it might make Walon believe Moll favored him over the corsair, second it was perhaps a step up in the chain of command, and third, he might have found a friend in the daughter of Rawnwave. Drask glanced between the two before speaking, "Are we just going to stand here staring at each other?" His cold manner returned as well as the typical expression.

((RANDOMNESS ROCKS!!))
Fool. I know the Queen better than that. I used to go to the tavern all the time. She doesn't really like either of us. She might respect our skills and opinions, but she really doesn't like us. he thought with a savage pleasure, but it was well-contained. There was no outward sign of what was going on his mind, however. "I'm simply waiting for the Queen. Even you should know that ladies go first."

((YEAH!))
The general met Walon's eyes coldly as his lips curved into a wicked smile, "Of course, you're right. What are you waiting for, ladies first, eh? Go on Walon." Drask almost instantly regretted his immature sounding comment, and he cleared his throat and stood up taller. "Forget I said that." It wasn't he was sorry for saying that to the corsair, it was simply the fact is reflected the way his father and brothers spoke, a little to much like them for his liking. Drask preferred to remain cold and impersonal around Walon and the rest, in order to keep up his reputation as the brilliant general, instead of the Darkfang way of acting. He had worked for too long and hard to undermine his name, as, in his opinion, the last of the sane Darkfang's since his great-grandfather.
Drask gestured to the hall in front of them, "Well, your highness, go ahead. Walon and I shall escort you there." He awaited Moll's reaction silently, he hoped she would not mention any of the things he told her moments ago, including the immature remark to the corsair captain.

Walon did the easiest thing he could do. He pretended he didn't hear it. "What are you talking about? What am I supposed to forget you said?" he said. Variations of that line worked in so many situations, it wasn't even funny.

Moll stood awkwardly looking back and forth between the two. She might have laughed at this conversation back at the Crows Nest if she had still been waiting tables and she hadn't been directly involved. It was all a little too close for comfort now that she was a queen and she had to keep her friends close and her enemies closer. She wished again and not for the last time that this dinner could be just she and Barlow in the kitchen after the meal crowd had left. She wasn't sure she liked being treated like a 'lady'. It didn't feel natural. She didn't know how to respond. For now she just nodded her head and pushed in front of them toward the galley. If she hadn't been so hungry she would have went strait up to the deck to get some air. As it was she planned on doing that very thing as soon as she had eaten.

((I love how Drask and Walon are always arguing, with Moll stuck in the middle.))
Drask ceased arguing with Walon for the time being, there would be time to do that later. Right now he was going to behave better in the company of Moll. With one more cold look at the corsair he strode off behind the queen, not waiting to see if Walon would take up a flanking position behind her as well. Drask had every intention of going to Vardav now, he was in anticipation of discovering whether or not his mother was still alive. That Engle-whatever would take some convincing, but he was sure he would agree, as long as he was paid more. He guessed that Moll didn't enjoy being between the two ferrets when they were always arguing over something. That was something he wanted to work on, the prevention of immature actions in the presence of the queen.

Walon fell in step on the other side of Moll. We really need to stop acting like a bunch of Dibbuns. It seems all we do is arguee with each other. I don't think we've had a single civil conversation between us. he thought as he followed them through the ship.

Moll entered the galley trying to be as inconspicuous as possible but she was sure all the eyes in the room turned to see the Queen take her seat at the table. She noticed that the chair at the head of the table had been left open as if it were waiting for the royal guest. Her paw traced along the back of the chair as she passed by it and squeezed onto the bench next to Jayne.
Jayne watched as Moll entered and then figuring that she would take the more glorified position she shifted her gaze to the two ferrets who followed her in. The former slave still didn't know exactly what to think of them. She wasn't even thinking of the Queen anymore when Moll pushed in next to her. In fact the jolt caused her to spill her spoonful of soup into her lap.

Choy now found himself sitting next to Moll, he smiled and began speaking, "Your cabin comfortable?" He had never been so close to royalty before, and the weasel considered it a privilege to have it happen now.
Jimmy was much more cautious around the queen and her two escorts, and for several moments all eyes were on Moll, then the noisy eating of the crew resumed, but most were still watching Moll, just not as openly.
Drask looked around the table, his gaze remaining cold, until he found a seat next to Lumpy. He elbowed the old ferret and smiled slightly for a moment before beginning to eat the stew laid out before him. Out of the entire crew aboard this ship, Drask liked Lumpy the best.

Janye rubbed at the spill on the leg of her pants and glanced up at Jimmy apologetically. These were after all the clothes she had borrowed from him.
"Yeah thanks," Moll answered Choy casually with a smile and then turned to her roommate. "What'd you think Jayne? D'you like it as well?"
Jayne was stunned into silence again. She had noticed that all eyes were on the queen and she felt the shift of their gaze when Moll addressed her directly. "Y-yes," She glanced at Jimmy again as if for help. "It's er very nice." She smiled shyly and then looked down into her soup bowl, cheeks burning, hoping that everyone would look away.
